We had an incredible stay here. One of the best experiences so far across our 13 stops in Italy/South of France.
The hotel is about a 5-10 mins drive out of main square (depending on traffic) however we deliberately choose to be in a quieter spot with a boutique feel. The hotel offers a shuttle service into town, timed at your choice and felt more like a private chauffeur.
The room was very clean, comfortable with modern design. Direct access to a private courtyard, the hotel pool and the pool bar.
We also absolutely loved the breakfast buffet which has incredible high quality gourmet foods and nothing useless. Hot food prepared to order and was absolutely incredible.
The restaurant at the hotel also offers Japanese options such as sushi and for someone who comes from a country with a very high expectation & standard on dinning, St Amour did not disappoint.
Overall, we weee very impressed by our stay.

The vibe and staff were excellent! It was in a great location too, which made it easy and quick to get around.
Overall, it’s a nice hotel just not sure if it’s 5 star. There was a black stain on our sheets on night 1, which I’m sure came from the washing machine, but no one wants to get into bed with any sort of stains (especially at a 5 star hotel) so we found this to be unacceptable.
Beyond that, we had so many ants in our room - over the course of 5 nights, we probably killed 40+ ants across the floor of room and some on our bed. This made things extremely uncomfortable for our stay as we prioritize cleanliness and this didn’t feel clean. We brought it up to management who said they knew of the issue but no further actions were taken - we still were the exterminators for the duration of our stay. We also found a frog hopping in our room on night 3 which made things even more uncomfortable. We can understand the remote location can attract wildlife but don’t think this was acceptable for the price and star rating of the hotel.

The staff is very profesional, nice and helpful so I can give 10 points to the staff.
All would be good however there is very serious problem - the smell of mustiness in the rooms. It was bed already during our stay but after coming back home I discover that literely everything including not only cloths but also bags, cosmetic bags, shoes and glasses sacs and suitcases smell so bad of mustiness that I am very concern if it will go away. Until now I have made already double time the laundry and still all stinks very bedly. My remowa suitcases are probably not for reusing anytime soon ( if ever) and the worst are the dresses which are dry cleaning only. I am very worried if it will ever go away or I will have to just through away all my silk dresses :(((( I am very very worried about that and this is why sadly I cannot recommend this hotel.
