Very clean place with helpful staff

The room was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful. The location is near the train station and you can get to the center of Florence very easily. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I think that is a very good place for a person who is traveling on a budget.

Obviously it is a budget hotel so the building is pretty old. You have to keep in mind that it is located in an apartment building and the sign is not lit, so it will take a moment to locate it. When you get into the building there is no sign of where to go, but luckily the person working there called us up from the stairs.

Great place to stay in Firenze.

Everything was great. The room was very confortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and we loved the cappuccinos in the morning.

All was good. Maybe the doors are a little noisy.

Comfortable stay, great location, very kind staff

Comfortable beds, easy check in and added bonus of pastry and coffee in the morning. The family that run the place are just delightful, very helpful and so kind (husband made me a coffee every morning). Location was also great - very easy to get into the city centre.

Does get a bit hot in summer even with the fan but it was also over 30 degrees so to be expected!

A lovely stay for a couple.

It was a nice room. Had free breakfast every morning which was lovely. And on top of that, lovely staff.

The walls are slightly thin so could hear some noise sometimes outside of our room. But this wasn’t a big issue.

Good stay at Hotel Cinzia

The staff is very friendly and super nice. The room is clean and well equipped with a good location only 5 minutes from the train station and 8 minutes from the tram station.

A perfect stay—10/10!

Everything was just like in the photos—if not more beautiful in person! The place was spotless, warm, and incredibly inviting. The staff were amazing and always helpful. This was by far the cleanest and most comfortable room I’ve ever stayed in. The location is in a quiet, pleasant area. A perfect stay—10/10!

Mixed Experience – Friendly Staff but Poor Soundproofing

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They genuinely did their best to make our stay pleasant and were always quick to assist with anything we needed. A nice touch was the free coffee offered every morning, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me was the lack of proper sound isolation. Sleeping there felt like a mission impossible. The first night was a nightmare due to noise from the corridor, other rooms, and even outside. To their credit, the staff provided earplugs after I mentioned the problem, which helped a little in the following nights. The hotel itself is quite dated—old windows, doors, and very thin walls. We only used it for sleeping, which is ironic because that was the most difficult part of the stay. There was a family with small children in the room above us, and the constant crying and running added to the overall disturbance. In short, while the service and hospitality were top-notch, the building desperately needs renovations, especially in terms of soundproofing.

Reasonable room with easy links to the university, airport and the centre.

Room was quite large with a modern bathroom and everything was well maintained. Well located for a visit to certain parts of the university and easy public transport links to the city centre. Had no issues with the wifi, breakfast was ok and check-in was easy once I found the place. The room had a ceiling fan to keep the heat at bay. The staff were very friendly and had some good suggestions for places to eat.

The hotel wasn't entirely trivial to find as it's not super well signposted and depending on other guests it could get a little noisy at times. The pillows were a bit solid for my liking, too.

Very cozy room, I was surprised how nice the hotel was for the price! Also very clean. The staff is absolutely great, they help you with everything. 🙂

Spring in Florence

Excellent value for money. The room has a retro style, so it is not equipped with new furniture, but everything is very cozy, neat, and clean. The room at the beginning of April was very warm, which is not common in all apartments in Italy at this time of year. The administrator and the person responsible for breakfast are quite friendly and helpful. If you take the train, it will take 10-15 minutes to get to the center from this place

amazing staff made our stay better.

THE STAFF!! they were so nice and so eager to help with everything. We didn’t know we had breakfast and it was such a nice surprise. There is an elevator that makes traveling with suitcases easy. The room was nice and big. The wifi was really good. Easily accessible from the city center to the Rifredi station.

The walls are really really thin. Our neighbours were having normal volume conversations and we were able to hear them till 00:00. This is not really the property’s fault, but something to consider. The hotel is 6 minutes walk from the Firenze Rifredi station. This is a short 5 min train away from the Firenze SM station. Obviously it would be better to stay in the city center, but the train only costs 1,50 euro one way so it was an affordable way to go to and from the city center. This is not the property’s problem, but it is important to note that it is not within the city center, but easily accessible.

Great host and amazing location for travellers

Great location, just a few minutes from a Rifredi train station. Host was amazing, they provided us with small breakfast and told us what to see and where to go 😊 Rooms ar old-ish, but clean. I would totally recommend this place for a short stay.

The best price/value hotel that we had in italy.

We were heavily impressed by the staff. They were helpful and kind. We got free breakfast and good coffee for the morning. It is near the station so you can easily get there and in the central. The bed was separate, but it was comfortable. The place was clean. It is a really good price/value ratio.
