Excellent

Everything was perfect: great value for money. We chose the half board option and I strongly encourage everyone to make the same choice: there are not so many options in the area and the food is decent - not necessarily 4* dining experience (we can compare with similar option in Dolomites), but there's nothing to complain about. Also, the room and the amenities are exceptionally clean. Nevertheless, staff is really nice, Valentina from reception is definitely one of the biggest assets of this hotel, in terms of staffing. She is just amazing!

Out of season, it was very worthy.

Lovely big garden, very inviting to be in the hammock overlooking the sea. Breakfast is very well served, very good variety of foods. Only you need to order the staff for coffee and that could take quite some time, especially seated outside. The receptionists were always very kind. Bed was comfortable, airconditioning was good, minibar was very small it barely fitted 2L bottles of water. The varanda upstairs is lovely. They offer shuttle for the beach but you need to reserve before hand. For the price I paid, I am happy.

I think for a 4 star hotel is missing a bit more attention to detail. I didn't use the pool but you need a cap (they sell for 6 euros) and you need to walk all the way down to the beach, It just seemed more work than going to the beach. Bedroom is split in 2 floors, with many stairs, not very childfriendly. We could use free bikes but they were so old and most of them were broken, but you can also pay for e-bikes. Tiny shower, which I know is common in Sardegna, but not for a 4 star hotel.

Top experience at an excellent location

Absolutely kind and helpful staff, excellent service. The hotel is really going beyond expectations with the additional services like using the private beach before checking in and after checking out, with a showering possibility. Shuttle service to the beaches and free bikes to use saved us time and stress spent on parking otherwise. Breakfast was also great with wide choice.

Our room was a bit noisy behind the kitchen, but we booked last minutes, so I guess we were lucky to even find a free room. :)

Wonderful

An exceptional hotel with wonderful friendly staff, and e actually regret we didn’t book a longer stay :) so we had to move out although we absolutely didn’t want to. The territory is exceptional, lots of flowers, live music. In the evening. Sure close to La Pelosa. We will definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff, to Alexia and Valentina and everybody for the best emotions. (Maria&Mehmet)

Wonderful hotel, very delicious breakfast. Very nice staff especially lady which works in the reception for the last 19years unfortunately we didn't take her name! We had the best time ! And the room which was upgraded with beautiful view! We will be definetly coming back .

A very pleasant and seemingly family-driven hotel with great service and staff. Fantastic garden and breakfast, and a short walk to the beach. The rooms were not more than OK, but clean and spacious. We’ll definitely stay here next time around in Stintino.

The term beach front is misleading at best and an outright lie at worst. When theres a few hundred meters multiple properties and a main road between you and the beach, it's not beach front.

Wonderful stay

Breakfast had a good selection. Cafe was freshly made by order. Room is clean and staffs were nice. One thing really cool is that this hotel has a private road to the private beach and pool. They also offer shuttle to the famous beach in 5 mins - good for peak months as maybe no easy to find car park

Top value for money in well-located great resort

Value for money was amazing. Beautiful, big, clean resort in a secluded, yet ideal location (2 min with the car to La Pelosa Beach). Breakfast was decent. Room had a separate dressing for clothes, a balcony with sea view, big bed, extra sofa, table and mirrors. Resort is big, nice garden. We expected nothing, given we just stayed one night but were impressed.

Check-in was a bit unfriendly, rest of staff was nice.

Grim stay with terrible food

The car park was handy and the views were wonderful

When we arrived we were forced to pay a 25 euro service charge for things like the pool and bike hire all of which we pointed out we were not going to use as we were not on holiday we were just waiting for a ferry. That additional charge was not made clear when we booked on booking.com and we felt cheated on that point. The attitude of the receptionist was poor and she indicated that she had to deal with this all the time. The swimming pool was a fifteen minute walk from the hotel down a very steep slope and other guests told me you had to pay for loungers there so what was the 25 euros for! However, our main complaint was the quality of the food which was just terrible and the service was very rushed. The only meal that was acceptable was the breakfast but I regretted pre paying for meals. They rushed you through the meals so that they could clear away too - no lingering over dinner. They do this so that guests will go and listen to the live entertainment and buy drinks. As we didn't want to listen to loud music and a DJ we had to retreat to our bedroom early and shut the doors as it was so loud. The room we got was for two people and a small dog but it was totally unsuitable for a dog as it was up a staircase onto the balcony which had a big gap in the bottom so the dog could have just fallen through it off the end of the building. I think that that was just bad luck on our part as most of the rooms would have been fine. I must add the rooms were clean and nice. But basically we hated it and thankfully we were only there for an overpriced two nights. On reflection it would have been better to stay in Stintino where there are many cheaper nice hotels and a good choice of restaurants. I hope I have saved you from this grim experience!

The hotel is not bad and breakfast is fine

The hotel staff was very bad. They were not helpful at any time ... They made faces when asked for something. We didn't get a good service ... Then, they do not tell you that the pool they offer is on the beach and is public and to be used for hotel guests you have to buy a club card of 5 euros per person ... Dinner was awful, we didn't like the food at all. We did not eat there again. We only had breakfast.

The kindness of the receptionist Angela, that helped us to organise a last minute trip to Asinara Island and the kindness of the waitress at the restaurant.

The furniture of the bedroom is a bit dated and unfortunately the aircon wasn't working. As a result, the bedroom was very warm but other than that, it was absolutely fine for a 2-night stay.

Complex fee for nothing. At checkout we were requested to pay 20 euros for a complex card for entertainment, bike rental and bus shuttle that we didn’t even have or used any of them. Also you need to pay for the pool(15 euros per person/day)

Very lovely surroundings in this Resort. Very Nice spots to sit in the sun (roofterraces everywhery) and Nice gardens. Also you can walk trough the garden and tunnels to a private beach with a Nice restaurant and swimmingpool. A lovely walk! De staff speaks english very well. Nice place to visit stintino. La pelosa beach is the Best! One of the best beaches on Sardegna i have seen in 4 weeks. Breakfast also very good!

Location and sea are perfect. Staff is always available and gentle.

Not all the costs were included (or mentioned) in the reservation made on booking.com. For example: club card and beach beds are not included. The room is noisy all day long and night (deluxe room with balcony/terrace and sea view) due to air conditioning system of the restaurant which was next to the room.

Heerlijke plek om een paar dagen van de omgeving te genieten.

We waren hier maar 1 nacht maar het was een heerlijke locatie met een prachtige tuin om in te chillen en een eigen prive strand. Alles zag er prima uit. We hadden het dinerbuffet bijgeboekt voor een zeer lage prijs en dat was echt een toppertje. Heerlijke gegeten. Het enige minpuntje was de snelheid waarin alles ging. De kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd maar verder prima. We hadden een leuk dakterrasje waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten.

De koffie bij het ontbijt. Zo'n grote kan bruin water.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten das Glück, zum Ende der Saison unseren Aufenthalt im Club Hotel Ancora genießen zu dürfen, die Atmosphäre in der sehr schönen Anlage war entsprechend entspannt. Unser Zimmer hatte eine eigene Dachterrasse mit seitlichem Meerblick und war zwar nicht supermodern, aber tiptop, mit Minibar, auf 2 Ebenen - das hat uns sehr gefallen. Herrlicher Ausblick von der Hotelterrasse, die mit Loungemöbeln ausgestattet ist. Frühstück und Abendessen (wir hatten uns kurzfristig für HP entschieden) in Buffetform. Die Küche war exzellent, insbesondere das Abendessen war wirklich klasse. Sehr freundliches Personal an Rezeption und im Service. Insgesamt Preis/Leistung top.

Um zum hoteleigenen Strand zu kommen, muss man schon ein bisschen Weg gehen. Zum Pelosa-Beach ist man zu Fuß knappe 30 Min unterwegs, das ist bei Temperaturen unter 30 Grad gar kein Problem (wobei man sich DIESEN Strand wirklich schenken kann). Mietwagen ist von Vorteil, weil auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein Stück entfernt sind. Die Lage ist aber auch das Einzige, was nicht optimal ist.
