Ca' San Rocco

The room was spacious, the bathroom adorable, and the working air conditioner.

It was a bit difficult to find the exact location of the property but then again what isn't hard to reach in Venice lol.

From the moment we arrived... everything has been absolutely wonderful. Great location and the grounds are very nice and felt secure. Room was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Staff is amazing and most professional, helpful and kind. Thank you very much.

Hotel was central to the city so we could walk around the city to cafes, restaurants and catch a ferry. Breakfast was fantastic, muesli, yoghurt and fruit which is want we want on holidays plus little other extras of food was great as well.

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. Staff were always brilliant and very friendly and helpful.

Wow, where yo start! The air con was not working properly. It was so noisy and was not cooling enough. I had a digital thermometer which showed room temperature flactuating between 25-27 celsius. We were there during a heat wave and reception told us because of the high outside temperature, air cons were not functioning efficiently. We had a double bed room but it was two single beds and mattresses put side by side without proper strapping. The mattresses kept seperating at nights. The bathroom did not get any effect from air con. And it was boiling. We were literally sweating whilst having a cold shower. The cleaning lady is an amazing person. She did wonders for things beyond her limits. In the morning we noticed floor was covered by ants. I am afraid some of the Italian ants travelled home with us. As I said the cleaning lady did her best but hotel needs things smt more than a good cleaning lady. By the way we were on second floor and there were ants.
