Great place for stopover Very friendly staff

Great location if you need a quick stopover. Town is charming. Staff were so friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Dinner at nearby La Sequoia was fabulous!

Dig not allowed in breakfast room because of the owners unfriendly dog. Some noise from the other guests coming in late and overhead.

Really great hotel, staff and location

We loved the location. Staff were really friendly and had a great sense if humour. As it was peak heatwave we were grateful that our room had A/C. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. The hotel is really clean and they do a great job each day making it spotless. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.

I don't really want to say anything negative because we really enjoyed our stay however the final price was different to what to what we were expecting. We thought breakfast was included (that was our fault and may of been lost in translation). Car park was full each night so we parked out on the road. Again this isn't really a problem as we always managed to find a space.

Great location, management excellent.

The manager and his team were excellent, helpful and welcoming. Bikes can be rented from the hotel and routing advice given. Easy proximity to Briare and surrounding area as well as a short walk to the Gare. It was my choice not to eat at the hotel as I like to do my own thing locally.

I found my room a little tired but fine and adequate. The bathroom, especially the shower area was poorly lit. The double bed was very comfortable though.

A warm welcome and a bar in reception. Just what the traveller needs. The secure parking was excellent. The beds were perfect. The en suite also perfect. Good restaurants nearby.

All in all, a bit of a find. I will definitely stay there again if in the area.

The hotel is very pleasant, as are the staff. The proprietor was willing to stay a little later than normal for my later than 9pm check-in. A central location but quite rooms are available at the back of the property in the gated secure courtyard/car park. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. I had a double bed which was very comfortable and the room was warm after I turned up the radiator a little.

The accommodation was more than acceptable but the bathroom needed a new fan. the build up of condensation is affecting the ceiling décor but this is not off putting, just noted. I would stay in this room again, no problem.

Very nice (and funny) hosts, there is a large garage to store the bikes. Rooms are rather old, but OK for one night. Location is good and quiet, it takes about 5-10min to walk into the village.

Bathroom is rather old and for example didn't have light in th shower (only above the sink), so it was a bit dark to shower...

Perfect Stay for the Loire à Vélo (and of course others too!)

For anyone biking the Loire à Vélo, this hotel is a perfect place to stay. The owners have a background in the bike world, a fabulous and very safe garage to store your bike/s, and a large breakfast buffet to get your day's ride off to a good start. The location near the center is good too! I very much enjoyed my stay!

A great hotel

Friendly staff. Good breakfast if a little pricey at 9 Euros.

This is a lovely hotel. Briare is a great place to wander around. The staff are exceptionally welcoming. Just a short walk to the train station. Only fault was that the room was too cold for me. I stayed there December. Was forced to put my coats on the bed during the night: a fault with many hotels I'm afraid. But if you are tougher than me, then it's a perfect location.
