Quality, staff and location

The location was perfect. Really close to all that Monmartre has to offer. Quiet street but moments from the action. Public transport (bus and metro) a two minute walk from the door. Staff were helpful and our room was comfortable and very well equipped. A fridge in the room was a bonus to keep drinks (and milk) cold.

Unfortunately, the lift was out of action during the latter part of our stay (albeit over the weekend-when repairs couldn’t be done) But we added to our step count to the 4th floor!

On this, our fourth visit to the hotel, we were once again impressed by the consistently friendly and welcoming staff who always make us feel at home. The breakfast remains a major highlight of the stay, offering a high-quality and enjoyable start to each morning in Paris.

Unfortunately, Room 102 was a significant disappointment as it is exceptionally tiny by any standard, requiring us to turn sideways just to navigate the narrow space on either side of the bed. Since we are traveling for a month with large luggage, the room was almost impossible to manage; we had to keep our suitcases closed and stood upright just to move around, and the cupboards offered very little storage for a five-night stay. Additionally, the plumbing was quite poor, with both the basin and the shower tray clogging and filling to the brim during normal use.
