The hotel was conveniently located and the accommodation was reasonably priced, making it a good val

The location was perfect for sightseeing, with the subway station nearby. There was a supermarket nearby, so it was convenient for shopping. Breakfast was also provided early in the morning, which was very convenient.

The room was clean, but the furniture and walls looked old.

Useful place near stations Nord and Est,

The reception was manned 24/7 and they were very obliging and charming people. The hotel is situated quite close to Gare du Nord station and close to Gare de l'Est. I could open my window.

The room was adequate but the bathroom was too small for the shower. It was difficult to get into and out of the shower and once in one could not move for fear of touching the control and switching the water off. It is in a rather seedy part of town.

The man working on reception was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is old and run down. Mould in bathroom and in bedroom ceiling. Broken shelf in bathroom. Room was tiny, bathroom also tiny, shower cubicle very narrow. Walls are very thin, so very noisy, we could hear next doors tv and people shouting in the other rooms. Location felt unsafe, especially as we were made to leave our room key at reception when we went out so that it wasn’t “lost or stolen.”

Weird, dirty, insecure

The front door is always locked and the desk attendant lets you in.

This hotel is weird and shabby. There's mold all over the grout and ceiling in the bathroom. The beds are lumpy and sag in the middle. The worst thing was that they have a physical key, one per room, and ask you to leave it at the front desk. But to lock the door from the inside, you need the key. This makes it impossible for one person to go out while their companion is sleeping, because you either have to lock your sleeping companion inside the room (fire hazard, life risk) or leave the key behind and leave the door unlocked while they sleep. It just made no sense. Also the cleaning ladies were SLAMMING doors non stop from 8am to 10am. There was no water kettle, tea, fridge, or microwave. The only reason you should stay here is if you NEED to access Gare de l'Est early morning or late at night. DO NOT try to stay here for more than one night.

awful we ended up leaving the next day

their isn’t anything special about the hotel to like no even signs that here is the hotel ugly neighborhood.

To start with the room isn’t anything like in the pictures we asked for an upgrade they said till tomorrow the next day we woke up and decided to leave there was no elevator we had to carry our 6 luggages 5 stories down with no help because the receptionist was murmuring like we wouldn’t understand that this isn’t their job to do anyway wouldn’t recommend such a hotel for anyone who will pay 750$ for 4 nights in such a location we ended up booking a 4 star hotel for 3 following nights for 500$ in the champs elysee

24 hour reception felt safe, the employees were friendly and very polite.

Toilet smelled constantly and there was a stain on the toilet door. Also the bath tub was full with stains which made it looked like it’s dirty. The breakfast could be with more options.

Great value for money. Clean and comfortable and a reasonably good location in a walkable area. Free drinking water in the hallway and luggage storage.

The room didn’t have aircon and it faced onto the road so it was incredibly noisey with the windows open but too hot with the windows closed. The staff were fine but certainly not service with a smile.

Clean room and nice breakfast

Outdated room…tap for shower was stiff and Bathroom door in room wouldn’t close. Also, the hallway of the hotel was noisy at night. The next rooms doors would slam shut as there was no slow close.

Peaceful, convenient and easy to deal with!

The hotel was very close to the Gare de L’Est train station which made travelling around very convenient. Our hotel room was clean and the overall hotel was quiet and people were friendly.

We don’t have any real complaints about the property. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall, this place was fine. It is well located to the train station. There is not a proper door on the bathroom which is odd when sharing with others. No coffee in room, but apparently breakfast downstairs.

Location is good

My room wasn't clean, no towel I had to get out to ask one to the staff, it was very small for the price, smelling cigarette in corridor and in my room because isolation was bad and the worse part is that you can hear everyone and everything, wall are like paper, I was able to hear clearly conversation of neighbors. Even for half the price I wouldn't recommend it

Basic, economic stay for a place to sleep and bathe. No frills.

Great location near train station, metro locations and local shops. Appreciated the luggage storage. A nice quiet spot with an internal, peaceful courtyard hidden from the main noisy street.

The beds weren’t too comfortable and the bathroom had no ventilation, allowing black mold to form within.

Amazing stay

Everything was great, the position was perfect, close to all means of transportation. Brasseries, bistros, bars, supermarkets were all around. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, there was a free water distributor, but the manager was the best! I was in Paris to celebrate my 40th birthday and he was able to give me the best room ever, even if the hotel was completely packed!

There were several aspects that were not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. The bedsheets were stained, and there were no facilities in the room for boiling water to make tea or coffee. The room also lacked a minibar or fridge. Because our room faced the street, it was extremely noisy, and did not feel safe at all — we could hear shouting and screaming well into the night. The breakfast was far below the level expected from a 4-star hotel. Even for basic items, you had to specifically ask, and only then they were provided. Some of the reception staff were rude and couldn’t answer simple questions. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at all, even though it is listed as a recommendation on Booking.com. Personally, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life.

The balcony and the fact that it was a triple room but the single bed was in an adjoining room so our son essentially had his own room.

Pleasant and convenient !

Very helpful and pleasant staff. If you speak french its a bonus, but as an american I could only speak english. Great location, close to Garde L'est, which made it convenient to take trains to other countries in Europe !

Perhaps the breakfast could have had american-ish style like - scrambled eggs/ bacon etc .. as expected it was a typical French breakfast. I have Gluten intolerance, but somehow managed to get by in a country that is mostly into bread/wheat.
