About this chalet rental

'Lazy Lake Lodge' on Glan Gwna Country Holiday Park just outside Caernarfon. 2 bed roomed lodge over looking the famous fishing lake on the park. Well equipped and a great base to discover all of the hidden gems in north wales and anglesey. It has an outside raised decked area with outdoor furniture.
The chalet has two bedrooms the first being the double bedroom, second room has bunk beds, bathroom has a shower over the bath, kitchen is a lovely , the property is a relaxing place to stay , fully insulated ,clad in oak , the chalets location is 2nd to none for peace and quiet.
There wi-Fi through out the park, the outdoor pool is Open from the Whitsun holiday end of May until the beginning of September.
The park is spread over 200 acres ,there is a shop ,laundrette, beauty salon, cafe and poolside bar ,meals are served in the bar area.
The lady on reception is a wealth of information and ideas where to go out for the day.
You will need your own towels ,bed linen is provided, electric can be purchased from the reception, bar or the shop and is charged at normal rate however there will be electric on when you arrive.

Lovely little place, sheltered and shady with great view over lake. It can feel damp in the back room and it was hard to get towels dry after a shower although a dehumidifier and plenty of heaters are supplied, they eat electric though! A comfier sofa would make a lot of difference to making it cosy but that’s a personal view, as you get older comfort is nicer than modern, the bed was lovely and comfy and we slept well, my husband said a teapot would be nice when making flasks up etc. overall it was a nice little place, clean and tidy. Xx

Nice size lodge. 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom along with a nice balcony with seating. Myself and my family loved the view out onto the lake, and the quietness of the area. Bed were very comfy and bath a good size for a soak. Lovely x

pleasant, quiet wooded area. within easy reach of other places to visit. weather was lovely I didn,t notice anywhere in the advert that you have to buy you electric, not a problem, but could be worth mentioning

Lovely stay with great views, informed host that the bushes to the lodge needed to be looked at as it was difficult to get to the lodge, she replied almost immediately and sent an email to the site, unfortunately they did not attend during our stay but hopefully they will sort it out soon other than that it’s a lovely peaceful lodge

Beautiful location, close to various activities and other areas of wales. The lodge itself was so cute, clean and very cosy. Highly recommend this stay and we hope to come back- as we didn’t get chance to fish on the private fishing lake, so would like to come again for another get away- very relaxing. We were so close to the Llaberis path to climb snowdon which we achieved Monday in the brutal weather Wales gave us- but so worth it when we reached the summit! We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights whilst visiting friends in the town. The lodge is compact but very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay with beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Beds very comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep. We found it a bit chilly even though we are from Scotland but the lodge heated up quickly once we got the heating units on - probably just due to the weather this time of year. We will certainly return. Thank you!

Lovely wood cabin within a picturesque holiday park. Property has a nice balcony, with a view over the lake. Ideal location for visiting Snowdonia and surrounding area, and lots of activities nearby, had a great time. WiFi wasn't easily accessible from property though, needed to use our handset as a WiFi hotspot on our mobile contract

We had a great stay here, the property is well located and the holiday park is lovely, you get a nice view over the water and is also well positioned for privacy between the other houses due to the hill as well as the trees. The house is nice and cosy and feels rather roomy for the size, mostly well equipped although do make sure to bring your own tea towels and towels. We were a little disappointed with the bathroom as the shower head is stuck twisted to the side and rather low. But overall we were very pleased with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Excellent location. Property large enough, including use of balcony though not massive. If extra bed could be used (5th person) it would be crowded. Kitchen could be better equiped (pans, wooden spoons, oven ware,) but there is enough to get by. Shower fixed in a low position which was a problem for tall people. But overall property great for our needs to explore. Site is great for bar area and pool.

A great stay again at Glan Gwna. 'Lazy Lake Lodge' was very clean and well-equipped. It is positioned in a lovely area of the park, over-looking a peaceful lake. The outside terrace is big enough for all to sit and eat breakfast/dinner and enjoy the great views. We were able to park right outside the lodge which is an added bonus. The beds were clean and the children loved the bunk-beds. The kitchen had everything you need and we cooked a couple of meals whilst visiting. The place itself is in a superb location just a mile or so outside of Caernarfon. The pool looks fantastic (for the summer) and the bar was excellent - very good drinks prices and we had a great meal for four with a drink for a very reasonable £30.00. We will definitely return to Glan Gwna and book this lodge again.

My wife and I, with our daughter and her two sons stayed in the chalet from June 30 to July 7 2017. We were very pleased with the accomodation, which was very clean and welcoming. The staff at the Park reception were extremely helpful and friendly.The situation of the park is beautiful and from the chalet we had a lovely view over the lake. We were able to spend a most enjoyable holiday in the lovely countryside. We would recommend the chalet and the park to all our friends.

We stayed at the lodge for a week. The location is good but the property let us off. In all previous holidays we always had nice accommodation. The property had some mould over the roof in one of the rooms and there were essential things in the kitchen like forks, bowls etc that were missing. Also we had to buy £10 card for electricity and take our own bed-sheets, duvet cover which we found out after we paid for the lodge. There is parking for the lodge but the day we arrived there was someone else's car parked so we had to carry all our stuff to the lodge. There is a play area outside that we liked the most as every evening we used to go there with our daughter. The restaurant with in the holiday park is very good with good menu. There were plenty of activities to do. Greenwood forest was awesome with plenty of activities that you could do with your little one. Overall it was a nice holiday.
