Great location and plenty of space

The location was excellent and the space was very good for a family

There was a lack of cutlery and crockery, having made contact with the staff this was sorted swiftly. The property could do with a few more decorations and a bit of TLC to freshen it up, but the property did what is said on the box. Overall we were happy with our stay there, I had no trouble getting in touch with staff as had been mentioned in other reviews and getting a spot to park was easy.

Getting up 3 floors without an elevator with the luggage in hand. The property is best suited if you are not packing too much luggage. Not suitable for seniors or people traveling heavy.

Horrible flat to stay waste of money

Flat floor was not cleaned, complained on shower cubical water clog nothing was done, wifi doesn't work even complained nothing given same password nothing was done, back door broken hard to open and close, and this emergency service number and voice mail also don't work.

Do NOT stay in this dirty appartment

The location was the only good thing about it. Was close to train station

It was filthy to be blunt. Communication was very poor. I’ve tried to contact booking.com about this but my guess is they’re bored of hearing about the stay. The property was not cleaned. Poorly equipped. Such a waste. Has potential if was managed properly, or managed at all.

We had a great stay in a very well located property but the property requires further attention to detail.

Minimal equipment in kitchen for use of 4 adults eg no serving bowls, minimal cutlery, no separate chopping board for non meat foods, lack of mattress covers/protectors, broken furniture on balcony, no mirror in en-suite, no towel rails, minimal cleaning materials

The apartment is nicely furnished and spacious.

They was a foul smell of urine on the sofa which needs a deep steam clean. One of the bins wasn’t emptied fully, there was thick dust on the lampshades and the extra bedding in the closet wasn’t clean. There was also no cleaning products provided.

We had booked for 5 people. One person was to sleep in the lounge. We found a duvet and a pillow in a heap with other items in a cupboard. The duvet and the pillow were not clean.

Our stay

The view and the balcony was the best and the apartment was nice and cozy. I would definetly recommend this appartment for a holiday and would love to go again. I didn't want to leave but I had no choice.

Disappointing check in system but lovely apartment

Apartment was great

On arrival the code we were given did not open the padlocked outbuilding where our keys were. I phoned the owner a couple of times while we were all stood in the rain after a 6 hour journey. About 30-45 minutes later the cleaner came to hand us the keys. We then went out for the evening and when we returned back to the apartment about 11pm the key we had been given would not open the front door. Once again we were stood in the rain. I called the property owner about three times until he text back eventually saying that he is busy and that there is nothing he could do expect give me the cleaners phone number, he then text again to suggest I relax and have a glass of wine while we wait. a couple of calls later I got ahold of the cleaner and she then came to let us in and give us the correct keys. The cleaner was a lovely lady but we were not impressed that we had been in Newport for three hours and were out in the cold and rain for over an hour of that. Not ideal.
