Five nights with my wife in a beautiful house

Enjoyed our stay facilities were above our expectations. We would definitely stay here again :)

Location and facilities were excellent, host was friendly and welcoming and came to check everything was OK with the property. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. the only problem was the weather which cannot be predicted but we didn't let that spoil our visit.

We always travel with our own towels so we were not caught out but it would be good to make it clear on the website that towels are not provided.

Lovely, can't wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful. Love the woodburner and how much light the property has. The woodburner has a LOT of supplies in the carport. The owners were so attentive. Only 5 minute drive from ulverston centre. Would stay again, it's so close to everything and the perfect drive. The location is great. So handy to have a washing machine! It wasn't hard to find the cottage with the directions, even when we came in the dark.

It was freezing and to turn the underfloor heating or heating on, you are expected to go to another house and ask them to turn it on. Not at all practical and did not feel comfortable doing that. Heating does come on automatically at 15 degrees. Woodburner was lovely but flooring is tiling in every room so it made it really cold if you step away from the woodburner.

The TV network downstairs was a little sensitive could only get ITV3 but that was my only negative comment on this stay.

Beautiful cottage, peaceful location. The owner so kind , friendly and helpful. Although only there for two days, we felt relaxed and recharged by end of stay.

Apart from the narrow twisty lanes, excellent choice of residence for our 11 day stay.

Comfortable and capacious rural getaway.

Great wood burner, airy and bright kitchen, super location, well stocked, very handy washing machine and dishwasher.

The log burner to be in an area we could watch the tv. Knives were very blunt. Needed a non slip mat for the shower.
