Good studio apartment by the beach
Great location near the beach, also not far from the old town or the train station. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars & grocery stores nearby. Nice walking by the beach and the headland. The studio is a good size for 1-2 people. The little balcony area with a table & chairs is a really lovely touch. Kitchen is well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, even a salad spinner. Owners were lovely and communicative. Sheets & towels provided.
No wifi, no washing machine. Studio would be quite cramped with 4 people (bed is a double bunk). 300 euro deposit is steep but I could offer a picture of my passport instead.

Excellent beachside apartment in Saint-Malo
The location was excellent, especially if you arrive by a ferry. it’s only about ten minutes walk. The beach is almost right in front of you. There are a good range of amenities nearby too. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, always getting back to me right away.
No WiFi (but the signal at the apartment was okay).

Great stay for two nights
We had a lovely stay at the accomodation. Communication with the accomodation people was seamless and they were a great help. Accomodation was simple and had everything we need.

The stay, though in a nice area, was ruined by the host's unjustified demand for cash.
The terrace.
The host aggressively refused to give the keys unless we paid 300 euros in cash, despite that we had pre-paid the whole amount as per the agreement through Booking.com. We had the specified 5.40 cash for tax but did not carry 305.40 in cash having just arrived in Europe. We were ordered to clean the flat before departure or forfeit the 300 euros, despite having already paid 45 euros cleaning fee on booking. The lift was not wheelchair accessible from the ground floor as claimed. There was no 'city view' as advertised. The bed was not made up and we were told we had to provide our own linen and towels (!) but we found sheets and towels hidden under the bed.

Difficulté pour se garer même sur les rues payantes, pas de parking gratuit à proximité ; la propreté côté cuisine et salle de bain laissait à désirer
