Magical eco-ag bnb experience in the Dolomites

We stayed in Brixen Bressanone for a short hiking trip in the Dolomites. Vintlerhof's host, Miriam, was very warm and offered some great hiking and dining recommendations. The area is very charming and worth a visit. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We loved the breakfast both mornings of our stay. It was very special and felt very personal to this region of Italy. We liked watching the farm operations and it was very peaceful and calm.

We love this special property as it was located on the top level of a farmhouse, offering a splendid view of the area and with ample space for our group of 5. The host took time to talk to us, sharing information about the farm and animals (sheeps, chickens, pigs, donkeys and a very friendly farm dog!). Kitchen facilities (and in fact the entire apartment) was very well designed.

One of our favorite stays on our tour of Italy

A young couple run this little farm. They picked us up at the train station which turned out to be much later than expected. But they went out of their way to meet us at the train station late. I asked if we were their first customers, it was so clean and new. They brought up our organic breakfast in beautiful wooden boxes filled with their own breads, homegrown honey, and generous varieties of homemade jellies and jams, a carafe of coffee, milk, juice, sugar, butter, and yard eggs. I loved it! They have a small vineyard and sell their wines at a reasonable rates. A great way to end the day and watch the sun set over the mountains. They let us pet their lambs which were only three weeks old. It was fun watching them running and hopping. They also had chickens, ducks, pigs, and a couple of donkeys too. It was quiet and picturesque but not too far from the train station or the old town of Brixen. It's a very walkable city. It was one of our favorite stops on our tour of Italy. It doesn't have a TV but I really didn't miss it at all. The showers are great with good hot water and pressure. I would go back again if I could.

Nothing else to say except that we really enjoyed our stay in that hotel

Breakfast was excellent. Very peaceful location lots of farm animals around to keep us entertained. Restaurant recommande was also excellent. I still think that the price I paid was slightly exaggerated. But in these circumstances it would be Difficult to make a decent profit as the hotel did not seem to be full during our stay!

I everything was fine but I did not see a fire or smoke alarm? That should be taken care of!! Nothing else to report so 90% out of 100. Will stay again if travelling in the area.

Friendly eco farm, very comfortable room on ground Floor with great view. 5/10 min walk from Nice town. All uphill on the way back. Great bathroom.

Brilliant, best place we stayed, great staff, very helpful, even met us at station with our bags after we checked out. Very comfortable and close enough to town and bus routes to get everywhere ready. Nice facilities, especially the shower - big and good pressure and big balcony to eat any meals on. Good wifi as well

Super nice renovated room in an old building which is part of a farm. Super friendly hosts, great outdoor-seating and views. Lovely seeing the animals playing around at breakfast.

Appartement zeer schoon, ruim, leek wel nieuw. Gratis parkeren bij appartement. Op loopafstand van stad. Hele aardige hosts. Ongedwongen sfeer. Zeer sociale mensen. Stadje was klein maar heel veel moois te zien.

Heerlijk appartement, ruim, comfortabel en schoon. Op loopafstand van het centrum van Brixen. En een heerlijk Chinees restaurant om de hoek. De ontvangst van Mirjam was fijn en mooi om te zien hoe deze zorgboerderij een prachtige maatschappelijke functie vervult.
