I needed some laundry doing; not only was this not a problem, it was done promptly, tumble dried and hung up to air. Brilliant.
And it has everything you’d want otherwise.
On the final night a gathering of people appeared in the rooms immediately adjacent (only a glass panel separates the two studios). They sang, yelled, played loud music, moved furniture, generally partied, and were unbearable. Eventually they stopped at 4am. At 6am, upstairs, a child began relay-running as loud as possible. No sleep at all.

It is a spacious and comfortable one-bedroom a few minutes walk from Gare Saint Jean. It is clean with nice shower, washing machine and functional kitchen. Very responsive and supportive host. C&D trams at gare will bring you downtown.
No condiments in kitchen. No bread knife. Undersized cutting board for food prep. Area does not have Boulanger, charcuterie, poissonnier, nearby. There is a food court and supermarché in a new stylish development on rue Amédée de Saint Germain. We also happened upon a farmer’s market there with excellent meat, cheese and vegetables. Owner could probably tell you the schedule.

The location was excellent -near the train station and with two Trams C and D easily accessible giving access to all of Bordeaux -up to central area and easy transfer to the B tram which goes further up the river and into the other areas of interest. The apartment was spacious, two double beds, one in a separate bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Not far from Carrefour express, a small bakery with sandwiches and croissants and some restaurants esp Terroir. The apartment was secure and very clearn
The neighborhood was more residential than touristic but it had good access to the train station which was important to us. There was easy access with the trams to the more touristic areas and "sights"
