Good place to stay in historic center of Stuttgart

Very important!! => Payment is done directly to the host, not via Booking, initially we were afraid it might be a scam, we called booking and they said that they are partnering with this host for almost 2 years now and indeed, we did direct IBAN transfer to the host and everything was as expected. Property was located in a very nice area, lots of shops and places to visit. Very good restaurants nearby and well connected with S-Bahn.

Great location, great space, but no above-and-beyond extras

location is great - easy access to U-Bahn gets to anywhere. host was super responsive and helpful.

Bathroom is a bit awkward. The kitchen had many things, but missing a few essentials (veg peeler, oven mitts). definitely hadn't been deep-cleaned in a while

Cosy and quiet apartment in good location

Pros: Great location, 2-3 minutes walk to the tram stop, supermarket and other shops. Quiet house with cute balcony. The kitchen was ok, but the bathroom rather small. Spacious living room with sofa, tv and dining table for 4. Easily adjustable radiators in every room. Slept well. Friendly communication with the host. Cons: The apartment door does not mention the owner’s name, so I had to ask the neighbor from upstairs to confirm it’s the right apartment before I inserted the key. It’s the left door on the first floor. Squeaky floorboards, but otherwise a very quiet apartment!

Disappointing/very basic-not suitable for more than 2.

This property is a basic level of accommodation only suitable for maximum 2 people to share the bed.

The level of this accommodation was very basic in an old building up 2 flights of steps on level 1-no lift. The third adult slept on the 'sofa bed'/lounge which was not suitable for an adult at all - very hard metal bar across the middle of the sofa bed meaning it would only be suitable for a short child under 3 feet tall. The bed was big enough for two adults, but only had quilts available for single sized beds (there were several of those so we made do by doubling them up.) The apartment lists a washing machine. There is no washing machine in the apartment. I asked about it (we had been travelling for a while and booked this apartment because it listed a washing machine) we were told it was broken and the repair people wouldn't be out for a while (which was after we left.) I eventually found several washing machines in a very deep basement and none of them worked. Sitting on the toilet meant you were hugging the wash basin in the bathroom as they overlapped. The kitchen was good -no microwave. The fridge was clean but smelt of cat food/had coffee beans in a bowl in the fridge- I assume to absorb the smell. The heating was good. The apartment is on a tram line, about 4 stops from central, with a few basic shops/small grocery store nearby.

A lovely wee apartment

Great location with super access to public transport. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the correspondence from the host to make sure we could access the property easily.

The oven needed a good clean! Other than that we were delighted with the apartment.

The location was OK.

No toaster. No microwave oven. No frypan. Very noisy floors. Bathroom to small, when sitting on toilet you had the basin almost on your lap! Door lock to apartment very hard to open. Washing machine in a very musty smelling basement which was not very appealing.

Superb

Great location and very nice old style apartment, very good renovated. It was calm and there was a TV with Netflix. Very easy to reach with public transportation and a very nice bakery near by. The explanation to reach the apartment were really clear and precise.

The wifi was working good in one room, in the kitchen and in the corridor. In the rest of the apartment was not working properly.

Exceptional

Very cozy and comfortable apartment in a centrical al but quiet location. There are lots of restaurants and bakeries close to it, and the U-Bahn station is right in front of the apartment. There is also a Lidl just 5 min away, which is very practical. Smooth communication with the host, who is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend it.

Very very pleasant and relaxing homelike feeling

Very pleasant, quiet apartment, hidden away from the traffic noise between two other buildings (inner yard). We prepared our own meals and we had everything we needed. Our doggie was welcome, too, there were no extra charges (kudoz!). Tram stop right in front of the building, subway a few blocks away. Many different little restaurants with foreign cuisine and bakers' around. The town centrum just like 20 min on foot away. 24-hour parking spots on the streets around + underground parking.

It is a gorgeous old building that has its pros, but also its cons, e.g. squeaky floors.

Nice city apartment with a lot of character.

This apartment has a lot of character / looks very warm. Good location since it is in a good neighborhood close to the city center but isolated from road noise by other buildings. Spacious apartment. It is old but quite well maintained.

The apartment is less ideal for tall (>190cm) people (lamps hang low in the middle of the kitchen and living room) and for people with strong cat allergy (cat is not present but if you are allergic you will notice it was). The wooden floors look nice but you can hear people walk in the apartment above.

Отличное месторасположение - дом находится на главной улице во втором ряду (шум улицы не слышен), остановка трамвая в 30-ти метрах, центр города в пяти минутах на трамвае, продуктовый магазин, кафе - все в пределах 100-150 м. Дом старого фонда, но квартира отремонтирована - хорошее отопление, быстрый интернет, отличный матрас. В-целом отличное соотношение цены-качества. Путешествующим на автомобиле не рекомендуется из-за проблем с парковкой в этом районе.

Ich hatte ein fabelhaft entspanntes Wochenende in fühlte mich sehr wohl in der Altbauwohnung.

Die Wohnung hat sehr gute Lage und man kommt sehr schnell und unkompliziert vom Hauptbahnhof an. Es gibt viele Restaurants, Lebensmittelläden und DM, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Man kann schnell ins Zentrum.

Für 2 Nächte

Sehr gute Lage zur Liederhalle. Bäcker, DM-Markt und Lidl in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Wohnung war bei Ankunft kalt, konnte aber nach Anruf mit der Vermieterin schnell behoben werden.

Die Matratze war zu weich und leider mussten wir im Parkhaus unser Auto parkieren, 16 Euro für 24 Stunden Nahe der Unterkunft.

Уютная квартира недалеко от центра города

Сравнительно недалеко от вокзала и центра города, на общественном транспорте не более 10-15 минут. Прямо напротив дома есть остановка двух линий U-Bahn, а через несколько кварталов - станция, через которую проходит 7(!) линий S-Bahn. Через улицу расположен супермаркет Лидл, рядом есть несколько заведений общепита. Квартира расположена в обычном жилом доме, и сама тоже выглядит не как жилье для сдачи в аренду, а скорее как уютное, хорошо обустроенное жильё для семьи. Нам это очень понравилось. Есть красивая посуда, часть оборудования несколько старомодна, нет, скорее винтажна, и это тоже мило. Тем более что работает всё более чем исправно. Хозяева оставили набор разнообразного чая, это тоже было приятно. Они всё время были на связи, оперативно отвечали на наши вопросы. Wifi работал хорошо, без сбоев.

Очень сложно было найти вход. Хорошо бы заранее присылать гостям схему или несколько фотографий, чтобы они знали, куда идти. Мы искали вход довольно долго, пришлось обойти весь квартал по кругу, прежде чем мы нашли проход, ведущий в нужный двор. Кодовый замок на почтовом ящике, где лежал ключ от квартиры, работает не очень хорошо. Открыть его было просто, а вот запереть, когда мы возвращали ключи, оказалось очень сложно. Возможно, замок стоит заменить

Das Bett ist mit 140 cm für zwei Personen zu klein, Matratze durchgelegen. Handtücher zu abgenutzt. Die Toilettenspülung notdürftig repariert, nur mit Kabelbinder zu betätigen. Kein Toaster, keine Mikrowelle Schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten
