Augustus Hotel

Location was very good and close to the main road to the beach. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and there was a very nice balcony towards the sea. Market also closeby opened 24h. Comparing to the region prices was among the best deals.

Excellent location not far from beach

The location is very convenient, close to the beach and within walking distance of the lively promenade. Soundproofing was good; no street noise could be heard. It was pleasant to sit on the balcony, and the stay was quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was freshly made rather than served from a thermos. Parking is conveniently located in the courtyard, where you can also enjoy cocktails if you wish. The beds were comfortable, although the room was quite cramped for four people.

There was a choice of breakfast options each morning, consisting mainly of various egg dishes. Coffee also had to be requested cup by cup. The toilet seat was broken, and the washing area lacked any sort of screen or curtain to contain the water. The pillows were hard. The wardrobe was awkwardly positioned behind the door. The air conditioner blew directly onto one's head while in bed. It was an unpleasant surprise that half the cost of the stay had to be paid in cash, which I hadn't anticipated. This meant having to withdraw the money from a local ATM and incur an extra fee.
