Kawakamiya Kasuitei

아빠와 동생과 함께한 첫 해외여행에서 머문 곳이라 더욱 기억에 남는 숙소입니다. 마침 동생의 생일이기도 했고 아빠가 온천을 좋아하셔서 좋은 료칸에서 하루를 보내고 싶어 예약하게 되었습니다. 그런데 직원분께서 동생의 생일 기념품도 준비해 주셔서 하루종일 동생이 좋아했습니다! 아빠는 저녁에 나온 가이세키 요리와 객실의 분위기, 숙소 컨디션까지 모두 마음에 들어 하셨고, 저 역시 온천과 직원분들의 세심하고 친절한 응대 덕분에 정말 편안하게 머물 수 있었습니다!! 가족과 함께한 첫 해외여행에서 좋은 추억을 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다. 다음에 이곳으로 다시 여행을 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 머물고 싶은 숙소입니다!!!!! 정말 감사했습니다

The staff were lovely, warm and thoughtful. When we arrived, we were shown around our suite and we were able to ask questions about using the Onsen. It was our first time at an Onsen so we were not familiar with all the customs. The staff answered all our questions and were very helpful. We even forgot a couple of items in our room when we checked out and they brought them to the train station for us (before we even realized we left them behind).

직원들의 서비스는 물론이고, 식사도 온천 수질도 너어무 좋았습니다! 2박 묵었는데 식사가 매번 다 다르게 정갈하게 차려져있고, 재료도 하나 하나 다 설명해주셨어요! 물은 바디크림 필요 없을 정도로 매끈매끈 부들부들 좋았고, 청소가 정말 잘되어있어서 감탄했어요 ㅎㅎㅎ 또 가고 싶네요 ㅠㅡㅠ

Absolutely lovely stay. Room was so spacious, had a beautiful courtyard area, and loved the onsen - it truly felt like a magical experience. I was debating between this place and the more historic/traditional Yunoshimakan but I am so glad I picked Kawakamiya Kasuitei - it felt like only locals were staying here and it wasn't on a steep hill so it made access so much easier for my elderly mom. The staff were kind and gave us complimentary tea, as well as a welcome "food" and dessert. We loved the private and public onsen because the water was so clean (felt like a true mineral mountain spring water). Out of the 5 nights that we spent across Takayama, Gero and Nagoya, this place was hands-down the best and very worth it for the price. Loved the traditional Japanese breakfast - it made us very full until dinner!
