Private Onsen inside and outside was the highlight, together with the river. We swam in the river and jumped in the onsen. An amazing experience. I wanted to sleep to the sound of the river and a view of the forest. And this was it.
The hospitality was exceptional. Ume san was a wonderful host.
I imagine this would be a great summer house. The fishing and swimming in the river when it is hot would be a wonderful experience.
Quite shaded. Not much direct sunlight. But heating is excellent and dryer works well. We went for a walk to get some sunshine and met some locals.
Balconies are unfit for small children, which is fine, just keep in mind to keep doors closed.
No phone reception and google map links didn’t work warily when trying to find it, so take a written copy of the actual address. Or just go to the campsite and find it from there.
