The apartment boasts a huge‑sized terrace with unbeatable views directly overlooking Belgrade Fortress surrounded by lush greenery. The scenery here is absolutely stunning, which could easily earn this property a full score. Unfortunately, the owner hands over the entire management of this apartment to his friend who works as an on‑site caretaker nearby. Since the landlord lives far away, he has no time to oversee maintenance and cleaning in‑person and delegates all relevant work to this friend. The caretaker only cleans areas that are visible to guests. He never conducts thorough inspections on plumbing and electrical facilities. Most importantly, he does not care about review scores left by visitors after check‑out because these ratings bear no consequences for him. For instance, there was an unpleasant odour inside the storage box beneath the wardrobe, which the caretaker ignored entirely as such deep‑cleaning tasks were outside his scope of work. The landlord, by contrast, genuinely cares about guest feedback and would fix such issues promptly if he knew about them. However, he remains unaware of these problems. Besides, I also noticed random items were carelessly piled behind the curtain underneath the TV. This disconnect between the landlord and the on‑site caretaker is the core reason why this lovely apartment fails to achieve top‑rate reviews. Even with these drawbacks, I would still consider staying at this apartment again when I travel to Belgrade next time.

Magnificent view on Kalemegdan Park and Danube behind, essence of Belgrade (for those who knows). The terrace for making brunch or dinner or simple feeling joy of living.

This is now a tricky part. I have to write something but there is nothing to say here. All was good and cannot find negative.

Many breakfast spots

Toilet flush is not ideal, elevator was broken 1 day, but thats an old building so understandable

The location was great - it was close to the city center and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself was pretty nice, with a great view from the balcony. The landlord timely helped solve the problems.

However, there were a few major issues that really spoiled the experience. First, the apartment was pretty cold. Additionally, we were able to hear our neighbors and the elevator quite loudly. The wiring was also very poor - the fuse blew two times in one week, which was frustrating.
