Authentic and charming stay in the centre of Honfleur

This is an excellent B&B in a very central location. Our room was very authentic and had lots of charm. The courtyard area was beautiful. The host was exceptional and did all he could to make our stay perfect, even staying late to welcome us on arrival after a very long drive. Driving to the property isn't for the faint hearted, where you can park for a few minutes to drop off your luggage but the free carpark is a short walk away. The breakfast room is very "cosy" and requires a bit of co-ordination from guests however the breakfast was excellent, both quality and quantity. I would certainly recommend this property and would stay again if visiting Honfleur in the future.

A little gem in the heart of Honfleur.

It is a stunning property right in the heart of the old town and you can easily walk from there down to the harbour. Frederic, the host, was very efficient and friendly, and he has obviously spent a lot of care and love doing it up beautifully.

We found the parking set-up difficult, but more so as the road we needed to take to the property was closed off when we got there. We ended up driving through extremely narrow cobbled streets, but eventually found the free car park which Frederic had told us about.

A beautiful place in Honfleur

The owner was so kind and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, and the showers were excellent. It was a very short walk to restaurants and the harbour. Frédéric made a lovely breakfast. He was also very helpful in providing lactose free products for our daughter.

There was nothing we didn't like. Be aware that the stairs are characteristic of the age of the building. They are safe and well lit. but a little narrow.

Wonderful Accomodation in a wonderful location

We were fascinated by the location and the accommodation. With its character and “frozen in time” decor it’s everything you want to really experience the vibe of the Honfleur city. The host is very welcoming and friendly and he takes pride in making his guests feel comfortable. The rooms are very different but with their own character and are very clean and comfortable. It is located central to the busy life of Honfleur and you can walk pretty much everywhere. There is a free parking very close by. The host recommended us a couple of restaurants to try and we were very happy with the choices. Breakfast was served in a very intimate room and the host engaged in conversations with the guests while serving continental and French breakfast with home made jams and breads. The host checked our rooms daily and made sure nothing was missing from towels to toilet paper. We loved every minute of our stay there. We will definitely return there.

During our stay the water heater broke so we had a cold shower however our host jumped right on it and since the part was delayed he moved us to another room with a hot water, you can’t ask for anything more.

Excellent location to town centre with free parking, literally, 5 minutes down the road. We stayed in quirky accommodation in a beautiful old building, and it came with a good choice continental breakfast. Well worth visiting.
