Wonderful spa and grounds, rooms are dark

The grounds and the spa were fantastic

The room we had was really dark due to size of windows, they could benefit from some smarter light solutions. The duvet cover was far too thick and warm for the time of year.

really nice location

As a frequent traveller I have been to many places. I had high expectations of this venue. But This is one never to visit again. Only reason of existence is commercial= money, which is a real pity. They claim to be a well being environment but the well being facilities close early in the evening and then of course you are forced to go for dinner = again money. I had an issue at the property about the swimming pool in the morning. Incompetent staff giving us wrong info and even though a solution was offered and promised, once we left it was not kept. To me this is all about honesty and hospitality. I insisted in the morning to speak to the general manager about the issue, was told he was not there but they were able to make a decision themselves. Now it felt like they got our money and that was all that counted. Where was the human touch? Where is the principle of admitting that 2 staff members gave us wrong info and one even went to check with us and confirmed what we saw (swimming pool closed when it should be open) Staff seems to be not well trained nor understand how to treat customers with respect. Please send them to EHL. There you learn about hospitality. Last point in the room there were leftovers of cookies from previous guests.

Lovely location and hotel/spa facilities; the food and beverage experience was really bad though!

While the product is amazing (room, wellness and swimming pool) the food and beverage does not worth the money spent. We've booked a table at the restaurant for dinner and our meat has been served while we were not ready with the apéritif. There was no way to have the meat kept warm and the maître d'hôtel offered us a bottle of wine. Nevertheless the dessert were really poor as well (for almost 12 euros, we've expected something in the plate). There were 15 tables and 7 staff so we can not say there was a lack of staff; maybe a lack of organisation that is unacceptable in such range of properties.

I could feel holes in our bed - super uncomfortable Basically don’t own an iPhone - very disappointing if you would like to watch something on any streaming service. Some receptionists were pleasant, some didn’t know what they were supposed to do….

Exceptional

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel, the spacious and elegant room and the access to the spa. The breakfast was healthy and nutrious. I really fell in love with this hotel!

Elegant hotel, ideal for a relaxing weekend with golf and spa

- Beautiful hotel, with elegant and spacious rooms, large bathrooms and plenty of amenities (we stayed in the family suit). The indoors and outdoors areas, as well as the corridors and small resting spots have refined and minimal decor, paying attention to every detail. - The staff is very warm, helpful and efficient. Especially Paula made our stay exceptional. - The wellness area is great. Although the swimming pool was closed due to Covid-related restrictions, the spa treatments were excellent. - We are not at the level to judge the golf court, but we had golf-initiation courses for adults and children. The instructors were great and adjusted the course to the audience, i.e. more technical for us and more fun for our son. - The restaurants were well-organised according to the latest Covid-regulations. Although we had to eat outside and it was freezing cold at times, the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. - A very nice touch is the "Honesty bar", where guests could serve themselves wine and soft drinks, just noting down what they took. Very convenient for families with kids. As it is just an hour from Brussels, we will be returning soon.

- The bed was too soft for our taste - We never manage to find how to turn the towel warmers on. A small note next to them could be helpful.

Very rude guests and staff

There were very rude guests in the hotel who disturbed the relaxation and rest we were aiming to get there. They were drunk, broke glasses in the hallway, make a lot of noise in the night. Staff did nothing to stop them, they didnt take our complaints seriously. The staff tried to make us pay twice for the stay.

Excellent.

I arrived late in the evening, around 8.45pm, tired and hungry. The young woman who checked me in was delightful, efficient and friendly. She even ordered room service for me although there's an app. Room service breakfast was also excellent. All in all a great stay, albeit quite brief.

My room was a little chilly and I can never figure out how those thermostats work.

L'accueil est absolument épatant ! Le cadre et la sérénité des lieux, le wellness très beau et agréable, la nourriture au Bistrot, l'essai au golf... Tout nous a séduits !

Alles was super en overtrof mijn verwachtingen en ik heb heel wat overnachtingen in Hotels doorgebracht vanwege mijn werk. Dit zijn nu locaties waar ik zeker weer terug wil komen. Is het niet zakelijk dan wel privé
