Wonderful base for cycling trip

A lovely characterful old building in the centre of Huy. Comfy bed, drinks tray and great breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even allowing us to charge our electric car and leave it with them whilst we cycled for a few days.

There's only a bath, but everything else was perfect!

Nice quiet stay very close to centre of Huy 👍👍

Good silence in this B&B. I was staying in the small house behind their big house. Real quiet! Everything was clean. Complete kitchen. Good big bed. Their garden is so big where I could park my car for free behind the building and behind their garage door, so that was safe! And my roadbike was in their barn, safe! They also pay attention to your breakfast 👌 That was great!! This accommodation is just 250 meters close to the centre of Huy, perfect!! So you can walk to the restaurants. No car needed.

According to their policy/info on the site Booking.com their checkout time is 11am officially. I have read that. But unexpected I was told to checkout before 10am because they wanted to clean/get ready the B&B for the next guest. I was late, checking out at 10:40am. So I can't give this accommodation a 10/10. But I still keep this B&B for future stays in Huy.

Delightful B&B in traditional setting

A good stopover on the way from Switzerland to Calais - interesting town, well worth the short diversion; Very comfortable and welcoming accommodation, with lots of personal touches, on the top floor in a traditional old family house with delightful garden and private parking. Massive bed and antique furnishings. Large bath room with bath. Good and nicely presented breakfast, with homemade preserves. Hosts charming.

A historical building where each piece and detail holds a story behind, and which is maintained with so much love and attention: this has been an exceptional experience. Delicous breakfast is in itself an adventure: sitting in a gorgeous dining room, with beautiful quiet classic music playing in the background. A big Thank You to the family of owners of this unique place. Hoping to come back again some day.

Issabelle is zo hartverwarmend en liet je meteen thuis voelen. Hun kamer is voor ons persoonlijk een ruimte om tot rust te komen en voor ons was dit geslaagd.

Een autentieke parel met prachtige stadstuin.

Zeer gastvrij. Werden zeer vriendelijk en in het nederlands ontvangen ddo de gastvrouw. Zeer autentieke accomodatie (oud klooster) met prachtige tuin en parkeergelegenheid in het midden van het stadje en toch zeer rustig gelegen. Grote gezellige kamer en badkamer op de 2de verdieping (zolder) maar achter het deurtje lag een parel van een kamer. Het uitgebreid ontbijt in de woonkamer werd verzorgd door de supper attente gastheer. Wij raden de accomodatie aan iedereen aan die van rust en gezelligheid houdt.

De foto's op booking.com tonen enkel de achterzijde van het gebouw wat een beetje misleidend was bij het vinden van de accomodatoe. De voorzijde ligt als een rijhuis in een klein éérichtingsstaatje.

Goed gelegen appartement, goed bed en gezellig ingericht. Ontbijt was goed, met vers afgebakken brood en croissant.

WiFi was van slechte kwaliteit, niet voldoende om te werken. Toegang tot appartement is via trappen. Badkamer ontbrak een inloopdouche.

Zeker een aanrader aangezien het in het centrum ligt.

De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk terwijl we toch wat vroeger daar waren dan voorzien. Onze fietsen werden onmiddellijk geladen en de mevrouw vertelde ons wat we zeker moesten bezoeken bij ons verblijf in Hoei. Alles was aanwezig. De rest van glutenvrije brood werd nog meegegeven.

Chambre très confortable et très belle, avec une vue sur le grand jardin de la propriété. Le bâtiment a énormément de charme. Tout s'est très bien passé avec les hôtes, le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux. Je recommande vivement !

Die Unterkunft liegt charmant in einem alten Stadthaus mit einem gepflegten großen Garten. Das Zimmer ist unmittelbar unter dem Dach über einige enge Stufen zu erreichen, aber sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist der totale Kontrapunkt zur sonst üblichen Hotelathmosphäre
