Casual Blue Bilbao

It's a really nice place to stay. The location is great, right in the heart of the old town, in a beautiful street, with bars and cafés just round the corner. The apartments are on the 1st floor in a very nice old house Our apartment was at the back, so not a great view, but it was quiet although it was a bit echoey outside our door. The apartment was spacious, very clean, with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. There is no air conditioning but it as has a very clever fan in the room that did a great job of cooling us. There was a shared kitchen which was well equipped and maintained. Everything was handled online (email and Whatsapp) and all the doors are coded, so we never met our hosts, but they responded quickly and efficiently to all our questions.

Nothing to do with the property but there is one caveat - Beware pickpockets late at night.

The location is perfect. The room was spacious and clean

There was no reception desk/clerk to help with questions

The hotel is located in a quiet area in the old town. The gorgeous entryway is very impressive!

The room didn't have air conditioning and although there was a ceiling fan and a box fan, it felt a bit stuffy. Since we stayed in a hotter period of August, the fact that the bed had a heavier blanket but no top sheet meant that we were either too hot or too cold and weren't able to sleep well.

Good location. Good communication via WhatsApp prior to arrival and during the stay. Communal spaces were clean. Nice to have a fridge and sink out there

Walls are quite thin. Could easily hear people coming in late at night, hanging out in common area and subsequently snoring in their rooms.
