Casual Blue Bilbao

The location was good. The room was large enough to fit three people. I like the availability of a kitchen although we did not use the facilities. The room and bathroom were clean. Luckily, the weather turned acceptable on our second day because it would be miserable to stay there without air conditioner.

We had a little trouble trying to find the residence and to get the code. Fortunately, we were able to reach the front desk at another building to get the code. Please give future residents instructions that they should fill out the necessary information prior to arrival to save time.

Ultramodern room inside a very old building. Great contrast for a more-than-great experience in a superb location in Bilbao. Fair price! Close your eyes, book it and order the next Txakoli.

The location is a surprise: right in the middle of the old city center, behind a huge wooden door, where the Bilbao branch of the Banco de España was once located. A marble hall, beautiful statues, an old-time elevator, and a staircase with a cast-iron railing. The hotel is on the first floor, and the organization is very efficient: no reception, but easily reachable by mobile phone and chat apps. No keys; everything works with numerical codes. The room is neat. Probably all the rooms are different shapes because they are furnished within the old bank building. Our room was very large, with a double bed and two single beds, and it bordered the bathroom of another room. The first night, we chose the double bed, but it appeared a bit too small for us; the next day, we were also allowed to use one of the single beds at no extra cost.

I got a room without a window. Although it was not mentioned when I booked it, so I was very unhappy. The room was dark without fresh air and I didn't feel comfortable at all as I'm claustrophobic. There was no rooms available, so I had to stay there.
