Great location . Room large and very clean. Thought the individual room names referring to locally found plants and animals a nice touch . Bed very comfortable. Had a great nights sleep . Actually enjoyed hearing the sound of the church clock . Breakfast whilst simple was adequate for our needs . A few different juices &cereals , fresh fruits & yoghurt, toast & preserves , tea & coffee . Had pizzas in the restaurant the previous night… excellent; highly recommend.. Ethan checked us in and was on duty that evening.. very helpful and friendly … he showed me the rear garden and wellness area ; lovely All in all an excellent stay (having read previous reviews we were of the mindset oh well it’s only for 1 night ) but we would definitely return if in the area .

Only a small niggle really …it would have been good to have been able to check in or to have even dropped off our luggage a bit earlier ( check in 4pm) .

Warm welcome from the staff, room 1st floor "otter" nice clean room, comfy bed, nice but small bathroom with good shower. Great for 1 or 2 nights. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus.

Negatives, it was sadly soooo hot and no fan available. Room faced the street so a very noisey night with the window open and even had a man pee right outside our window, we heard him and his conversation with his friends like he was in the room. We'd stay again but request to not have that room.

Relaxed setting and an easy walk from the train station. If you want their award winning pizza get your orders in early ! Lovely breakfast buffet
