Entrance to the Inn and Restaurant is through the parking lot.
We mistakenly went in through the pub while there was a rugby match going on haha lol
Owners were lovely. The location was in Caerwent, great historical place. A Monmouthshire book is also provided in the room if you don't know where to go or what to see.
Food was good, they serve set breakfasts and will ask you the night before.
The room was clean and neat. Very cosy. Soap bar is provided so bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo. We went during the winter so it was quite cold but aside from the radiator there is also a provided extra heater.

We stayed at the Coach and Horses after spending the afternoon at Chepstow races. the staff were very nice, room ok and food pretty good.

The room was very scruffy and with little furniture that was tatty and old. The mattresses were so old, the spring creaked and popped with every movement and was so uncomfortable we woke up in the morning with sore back and necks. The shower door didn’t close properly and the towels felt like they were rough with years and years of use. The curtains were very thin and did nothing to block out the light. We expressed our concern in the morning and cut our stay short, not able to stay another night. To top things off, after complaining and leaving, raising the concern with Agoda, they reported that the landlord was unaware of any problem reported. So they are now lying about it. Horrible experience.
