Not as spacious as expected

An amazing location! Such a short walk to the beach, a minimart right on the corner and the place was surrounded by many places to eat as well as serving delicious food at the place too (yummy spring rolls!). The breakfast was also delicious with many options including gluten free. This place had a family vibe feel to it, the front desk/restaurant area had comfortable seats where you could park up with a drink for the arvo. We had a private villa which was a great size and was cleaned multiple times during our 4 night stay. I'd definitely recommend this place provided you don't mind being in nature with insects!

I wish we were told on the first day that we could get free sun beds at the 'sister' place down the beach. We only found this out on our last day!

Luna and the team are amazing, they look after you like you are family. There is a great atmosphere with the other guests, it feels very relaxed and a safe place to be. We stayed in private rooms with air conditioning and fans which were lovely.

We liked everything, but if you are expecting western style accommodation it may not be what you expect.

This hostel is very rustic, beautiful setting with bamboo/wooden huts set amongst lots of lovely plants and trees. The decoration is fun, warm and creative. The staff are very professional and very helpful. I was given a delicious welcome drink of hot fresh lemon/lime with fresh ginger and honey. There are lots of nice places to sit either to be alone or to socialise with others. There are a variety of room options. It was very friendly with a good atmosphere. Not too many rules - very easy going. The breakfast at Ken's cafe was great.

Many things are poorly put together or unfinished. The drains don't work very well and it takes a long time for water to drain from sinks etc. The lack of solid walls, standing water and general dirt (e.g. backpackers leaving fruit lying around) meant more mosquitoes. The beds are made of thick foam mattresses covered in a nylon sheet and with a nylon pillow case. There is no top sheet or cotton cover - just a thick blanket which i don't believe gets washed that often. Some top bunks do not have curtains.
