Milk Fruit Homestay - An Bang Beach

The location was great, short walk to the main beach and restaurants. No issue with communication with the property staff when we booked and we were able to leave our luggage with the property.

The staff were amazing and the room was wonderful! The room was super clean and large. And the bathroom was great. They provided bottled water for us which is always a plus! Breakfast was also really good, although they only serve from 8am-10am (we stayed in 4 other homestays and they served breakfast from 7am to whenever but it wasn't a huge issue for us.

We initially booked this homestay because it said there was private beach access... There was no private beach access, it's just close to the beach. Also, my partner had his laundry done and when it was returned 3 of the shirt seams were ripped. Admittedly they did repair the shirts but the laundry cost 330,000VND (80VND per kilo) - madness! Everywhere else we've stayed has been 30-50,000VND. So definitely do your laundry before you arrive here if you're doing a long trip. The water in our room also stopped working one morning but they sorted that out really quickly so wasn't a problem for us!

Location is great, the bicycles are handy to get to Hoi An and the surrounding area. Staff is friendly. Room is big. Facilities are good. Breakfast is basic.

The air in the room felt off. Very stiff and likely mouldy. The curtain in the bathroom probably had mold on it. It also felt a bit wet/moist in there (likely from AC). We tried airing out as much as we could but lots of mosquitos in the area make that hard without getting them in the room. Made coming home after a long day and walking in the room a not so pleasant experience.
