Handcrafted charm

We had a memorable stay at Le Manoir d’Ange. This is clearly a place crafted with vision, care, and great attention to detail. The property is full of character, and it is evident that a lot of heart has gone into making each room unique and welcoming. Due to a mix-up, we could not stay in the chalet that we had booked. While this was disappointing after several days of hiking and looking forward to a bit of rest and comfort, the host did his best to respond with generosity. The alternative room—though not one we would have personally chosen—was immaculately clean and thoughtfully prepared in a very short time. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and in keeping with the overall experience.

This stay reminded us that things do not always go the way we hope, and everyone carries their own expectations and disappointments into such moments. We sensed the care behind the place, and we imagine it is not always easy to create and sustain such an atmosphere. We hope that in future encounters, a bit more mutual understanding and calm might arise.

A unique experience off the beaten track

I stayed in the gipsy trailer and was really impressed how they managed to have a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining table, a couch and a bed in there. They went the extra mile to set up the atmosphere and make you feel welcome. It really was a unique experience. will certainly return in the future to test the suites. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I certainly recommend the Manoir for the visitors looking for a unique experience.

It doesn't get more romantic, greater or better than this! Totally exceeds the highest expectations!

When you look at the pictures, you already see the romance. When you arrive at the property, you feel the romance. And though already having high expectations when arriving, it's just ... magical. We took the Nuit de reve deluxe and it was totally worth it. Great location, great diner, great bad, great sauna, great bed, great breakfast and above all, great privacy, If you want to have a romantic weekend, this is where you want to be!!

There's little to nothing to not like. Maybe 1 little thing: I would go for a door instead of a curtain for the toilet. Other than that, simply perfect in every aspect!

Charmante kamer en inrichting maar overpriced

Wij verbleven in de maharadja suite. De kamer is zeer gezellig ingericht met een overvloed aan sfeerverlichting. Een welkomstdrankje en nootjes waren voorzien bij aankomst.

Jammer genoeg is er geen mogelijkheid om ontspannen te douchen omdat je de sproeikop nergens kan ophangen, je moet dus op je knieën zitten in de badkuip en je wassen met 1 hand terwijl je zelf de sproeikop vasthoudt met je andere hand. De kitchenette die genoemd wordt in de beschrijving is niets meer dan een spoelbak en 2 elektrische kookplaten doch er zijn geen potten en pannen voorzien dus iets koken kan je niet echt doen behalve iets opwarmen in de magnetron.

Enorm lawaaierig. De buren kwamen ‘s nachts terug en enorm veel lawaai.

Het was een soort grot zeer romantisch goed ontbijt en gastvrij. Maar voor deze prijs niet waar ik op gehoopt had.

Het was zeer romantisch ingericht. Mooi groot kingsize bed

Gordijn voor het toilet niet zo fijn. Zou een hottub en bubbelbad zijn dit was niet het geval. Er was wel een groot stenen bad. Douchekop in bad zonder haak dus enkel een bad en boven 1 stopcontact. Bij de wastafel geen ruimte. Heel gehorig je hoort de boven buren letterlijk.

Perfect om te ontspannen in een mooie omgeving

Wij verbleven twee nachten in de super gezellige chalet. Heel cozy en mooi ingericht. Langs de achterkant bevindt zich een overdekt terras en een sauna en buitendouche waarvan we graag gebruik hebben gemaakt. Heel lekker ontbijt en sympathieke eigenaar. Mooi domein in een super rustig dorpje. Perfect om tot rust te komen.

Fantastisch, sprookjesachtig

De prachtige ligging en het terrein. De Pipo wagen staat naast een weilandje met een schaap. En overal zie je groen en prachtig oude bomen en torentjes van het kasteel waar de eigenaar woont

Zou geen nadeel kunnen verzinnen. Behalve dat als je met z’n tweeen bent en graag ver uit elkaar kan slapen het 2-persoonsbed niet superbreed is

Niet wat ik verwacht had.

De bedden waren heel goed en de host was zeer vriendelijk.

Bij de boeking stond duidelijk dat het bad een bubbelbad was, dat bleek niet zo te zijn en daar had ik speciaal voor geboekt. Ook stond erbij dat je een eigen terras had, dat was niet echt zo. Er waren geen fatsoenlijke zitplaatsen buiten, wat heel jammer was, want mijn intentie was om s'avonds rustig in mijn boek te lezen in de tuin.

Bij aankomst brandden er kaarsjes, er stond rustgevende muziek op. Chalet incl sauna en bad was enorm mooi en leuk ingericht. De host was erg aardig en gepassioneerd. Het ontbijt dat we kregen was ook erg lekker. Hij vroeg op dag 1 of het ontbijt goed was bevallen en of we voor dag 2 iets anders wilden. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen om naartoe te gaan!

Wat een mooie accommodatie! Wij hadden de chalet gehuurd met de sauna. We waren erg onder de indruk van hoe cosy de kamer was. We voelden ons meteen tot rust. Het ontbijt was ook dik in orde en werd aan de deur gebracht in een mand. Dus je hoefde je kamer niet eens uit.

Un petit bout d'Atlantide

Chouette hébergement dans un joli cadre. Le logement avec la baignoire Balinaise est chouette sur 2 niveaux. Ambiance tamisée avec bougies connectées, c'est top. Il y faisait bon et l'eau du bain est bien chaude. Personnel très agréable et convivial. Petit déjeuner copieux. Il y a une balade Totemus qui démarre à 200m du logement.

Insonorisation entre les logements pas terrible. Pas de porte entre le WC et la chambre, uniquement un rideau. Du coup faut être à l'aise avec ça ! La baignoire est très jolie mais pas super confortable, du coup difficile de vraiment s'y détendre Le lit un peu mou et court pour les personnes de grande taille mais c'est question de goût.
