Location
No hot water. Unprofessional night watchman

It was lovely being in the island.
Staff wasn’t friendly.

Location
Overpriced, grubby, scruffy, ugly, utterly charmless, uncomfortable, noisy.

It's on Mont St Michel
Staff seemed indifferent. Very tired looking room in an annexe. Difficult to find the room again in the evening. Very noisy, very early in the morning, due to delivery vehicles in main street and the delivery men shouting to each other. Worst night's sleep of our 5 week trip

Location was good. Room was quiet. Great base to spend time at Mont Saint Michel.
Room was old, overall not great value for the money, but I do suspect that is the norm in the area.

Location, food, cleanliness
No kettle and internet kept dropping
8.0 / 10.0
The room was tidy and the location was great. The building itself is a monumental piece of history and gives shivers when thinking of all the people who have ever stayed under its roof.
One needs to be prepared to be awakened at 6 a.m. by the noise from outside made by cargo transportation.

Location is perfect but lacked a view. Very easy to get to and from within MSM. The staff was very helpful.
Rooms are very small. To be expected in a small village. Beds small and not most comfort.

Location at Mont St .Michel
Location of room, proximity to Main Street. It must have been delivery day as we were woken up at 6am by all the cart foot traffic motorized and manual.

It’s a beautiful place. Very unique
Way too crowded, restaurants didn’t stay open late enough for the amount of people still there in the evening. No fans and had to open windows In The evening and the seagulls were so loud. It was very loud starting about 5 am as they were restocking the restaurant and stores for the next day.

It was inside the mont st Michael
No air conditioning, no fridge

Location, good bathroom, comfy beds. View.
Given the heat, it would be helpful to have a fan in the room.

The room was spare but very pretty, with a peaked ceiling and exposed beams. Windows in the bathroom and bedroom looked out on the beach. The location, about halfway up the main road in Mont St Michel, is ideal, and when you stay the night it is a totally different experience after the daytime visitors leave around 6 PM. We took a bottle of local cider and walked around the quiet alleys at night.
Every single thing in France is overpriced, and everything in Mont St Michel has a few euros added on top of that. I do not know how people live here. While La Vieille Auberge was one of the best value places in Mont St Michel (aside from their restaurant, which is very expensive, I still have felt every day that we are being punished for visiting the country.

It felt like it belonged in the 12th c when the village was started. Wonderful.
The walls were thin enough to hear activities of a sexual nature in the next room!

Plenty of light in the room and not too many steps up from the Main Street, so really central
The room was very small with a strange smell

It was comfortable and clean. The location on Mont St Michel was great and very private.
The room was very small, but really you don’t spend any time in it.

Great location and history.
Right on Main Street. Very loud in the morning, 5:30am they start supplying the shops and restaurants.

Very tired and not very clean. Threadbare carpet, lumpy beds. Great location but accommodation was rough. Staff was overwhelmed with restaurant and not attentive to hotel guests. Wouldn’t stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. We had wanted to come to Mont Saint Michel for a very long time. It was pretty amazing to stay in medieval village. While it’s heavily populated during the day after 6 PM, the island has very few people left on it. It felt magical. The room itself was well appointed. It had all the amenities that one needs. The window that looked out over the village and across the water Was in the bathroom, which was a bit unusual, but still was a breathtaking view. The restaurant where we checked in held our bags until the room was available in a secured room. That was very helpful. The sound of the seagulls in the morning felt a bit otherworldly. I highly recommend this accommodation!
Well, we definitely had the impression that we were going to have a balcony based on the images shown by the property. The window that opened out over the view was in the bathroom and did not have a balcony.

Pleased we stayed on the island as we were able to explore when all of the tourists left for the evening.
High tourist area

Clean, quiet. Spending a night on the Mont is essential to a good visit, and this hotel does the trick.

The room was small, but the price was appropriate for the size. We enjoyed the stay and everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. Very cool to stay in this unique place!
It was nearly impossible to find a place to eat in the morning and evening, even during the hours and restaurants that they advertise that the restaurants are open. This aspect needs a lot of work and we were happy that we were only staying one night.

Unique setting on the island, with gorgeous views on Mont Saint-Michel Bay. Room 212 has a good sized bathroom with shower and toilet room. We also had room 214. Your neighbors are seagulls, so you should enjoy hearing their calls before booking these rooms😉
A few niggling things, the lights didn’t work in room 214’s bathroom and was not addressed despite being reported. The towel drying rack did not function in room 214 but the breeze was more than adequate to dry the towels overnight.

It is situated in Mount Saint Michel which helps explore late evening/early morning without the crowds. Our room also happened to have a view to the monastery which was nice. Staff was very friendly.
It’s tiny, with odd corners (specially bathroom/ shower), the place smells it’s age too. Bed is firm (although I know many like that).

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms are tired (but were clean)
1.0 / 10.0
honestly nothing
•the photos look nothing like the actual rooms
•the walls and door are paper thin so when people are talking outside it’s like they are right next to you in the room
•I would say the location was good but we had a helicopter flying over carrying wood for the building site and the noise practically shook the room
•the walls were very dirty
•there was no hot water in the sink
•very very overpriced for the “quality” of the room
•staff were honestly borderline rude and walked around like they had the worst job in the world
•100% don’t pay the ridiculous price for the breakfast it absolutely isn’t worth it

windows did not shoot water came into the room when raining

Very hard to find something positive about the hotel
Short explanations and rough guidance from staff, Less customer-centered services, Super slow wifi, Poor amenities, Inconvenient accessibility, Much smaller room space than expected, etc. All in all, this property wasn’t worth its price.

great location, clean, good value for money
room was located in another building
