Peaceful, clean and comfortable.

Rustic Manor Guest House is located in a very convenient, quiet and pretty neighborhood. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and I was very well taken care of, with Caroline even coming to my rescue when I locked myself in my room one night. A little added bonus was a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge and some rusks with the complimentary tea and coffee.

Cozy, convenient and value for money

Neat room, clean bathroom, well equipped with kitchen available in common area. Air-con is great during the summer heat. Secure parking available. Friendly staff.

Difficulty reaching house manager on arrival. Bit noisy at the swimming pool & billiard table as it’s close to the room. Creepy shouting from a distance that I can only assume was pollsmoor inmates.

Really lovely. A beautiful quiet garden setting with everything you need. I would reccomend it.

A wonderful quiet environment. The rooms are superbly adequate, providing everything you need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

The woiden floor above mr meant I could here every movement upstairs. No one was noisy I could just here it at 4am in the morning. You can also here any neighbours conversations even though no kne was being noisy.

Private and peaceful.

It is close to the USA embassy, about 5 km, we parked at the Steenberg shopping centre about 2.5 km from the guest house and we could easily walk to the embassy.

Because of our experience, not pleasant.

The location.

Their policies can be more flexible. We had an early appointment at the USA Embassy. Left before any staff available. Took the keys with us, because of stressful situation, forgot to take it back. Explain to them by phone and send it the same day back by courier. The room was unlocked and could be prepared for the next guests. No mercy, fined us for receiving the key late!!! Could have been more accommodating.

Quiet and safe

Rustic Manor is situated very close to where we needed to be daily. It offers safe parking. It's in a quiet area and you can be sure to have a peaceful sleep. Good restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

The microwave in the room did not work and was not repaired. There was one in the communal kitchen, which was ackward to share with others. The towels were stained and not replaced. We enjoyed our stay, but it was extremely hot with no aircon. Good for winter stays, and next time, we will bring our own towels along.

Just perfect for my needs!

This was a lovely place to stay and within a short distance from the US Consulate which was my destination. I found the room large and comfortable and was very happy with my stay here. Thank you Jade!

Not too bad, but I won't book again

- Staff was friendly - Room was not too bad and overall very clean - Bed was comfortable - Great location

- Breakfast was not great - The plates in the breakfast room was full of dust and I had to clean it before using it - Had a parking issue when I came back the one evening. There was literally no open parkings which caused quite a disruption. - It's very noisy. I could hear my neighbour's speaking and showering. Very disruptive when you hear this late at night or early in the morning.

It was awesome.

I love the area where the accommodation is based, it's clean, looks and feels safe. The staff is friendly, the rooms are awesome. Pity I had only one night of stay but it was incredible. I had to leave early in the morning so there was no time for breakfast. I would definitely re-visit again.

The bedroom carpet needs a good steam clean…some stained spots. I would have liked an extra bottle of drinking water in the fridge. The 2 bath towels were a bit worn out..need new towels.

Convenient location for our purposes. Breakfast was OK considering the price. Beds and bathroom were clean.

Advertised as 5***** on booking.com, which it clearly isn't. In the room is an (expired) 4**** grading certificate framed on the wall. Only 2 towels provided for 4 guests. Hairdryer only on request (difficult if you take a shower late in the evening). Not enough plugs to charge the phones. Stained carpet. Cheap soaps.

The welcoming ws very warm on Thursday when we arrived on Thursday from Jade and staff. Due to heavy family schedules as I was running Two Oceans with my wife, we didn't arrange for breakfast, however, the facility in the rooms made it easy for us to make our own breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didn't have any 2nd thoughts about safety, it's a very safe place, no need to be worried a rented car being buglared or stolen. My kids just fell in love with the place, they could walk around in the garden, play in the pool, didn't feel confined in one zone of the property. I also appreciated the shopping area, very neat and has many options for visitor. The staff were just awesome and kids also connected with them. Water was clean, warm when you need to shower, rooms very neat, etc. It is indeed a family home, next time that will still be our preferred stay. Thank you for the hospitality.

Great location as it was closer for our business at the Consulate. Very friendly staff & very clean. As a returning guess I expected nothing less than before. My Friend Jp & myself had an excellent stay there. Ms Caroline & her companion were absolute gems!
