Traditional hotel with good connection to Frankfurt

Very friendly personnel, super fast check-in and check-out. Tasty breakfast, and there is enough food - I came down past 9 and still had a good choice of everything. Bus stop just 10 m away, bus brings you to Sbahn or Ubahn towards Frankfurt. I needed 30 min to Frankfurt Messe or 40 min to the southern part. There is a restaurant in the same building. I did not buy there anything but the smells were delicious.

You wouldn't call it "modern" - for some people it might be not nice, but for me it was just fine. This is not a problem of a hotel, rather of public transport - it was always a bit late, so count with this if you have any important meetings or similar.

nice area, quiet but be prepared for a hot stay in summer

We located in an otherwise small town. The rooms were roomy and very quiet with a small kitchenette provided (though we did not cook). The rooms were airy and well-lit.

@ stories and no lift, not too bad but in summer a pain with the luggage. No air-conditionning, we were under the roof it was really really hot! We did open the balcony door and windows there were but this was only effective from around midnight so I had little sleep :)

Had a lovely stay!

There were so many choices at the breakfast buffet. They had everything! Staff was very friendly as well. Would love to go back again and would definetely recommend! There is a lovely terrace downstairs where you could get something to drink, very cute.

My partner gets hot quickly so maybe a fan would have been nice but that’s about it!

That there was no facilities to make tea or coffee in the rooms , after long travel times always look forward to a hot cup of tea or coffee to relax ...especially as the restaurant was closed by the time we arrived

- dirty sink in bathroom - hairs in shower - breakfast was almost half empty - At checkout they didnt even ask how I liked the stay. After returning the key all I got was: ok bye

room is really big and well decorated, we noticed everything in the hotel is really high quality breakfast is really good and the restaurant which you can buy good are the best. It is no cheap but it worth!!

Great food, bar, neighborhood and environment

The breakfast is delicious, staff are relatively friendly for Germany, the bar has many options and the restaurant itself has phenomenal food. The building is one of the originals in the town so the rooms are a little bit older which is nice but if you’re like my sister or friend who traveled with us, it could aggravate your allergies. I love the restaurant and have always been fond of this place.

I highly recommend, although I did find the customer service to not be the most Ideal. They often requested things of me and my guests that they didn’t of other guests, such as saying not to forget our room keys because there was no reception that day or making us pay at breakfast instead of checkout. However, I believe this was a unique experience and they perhaps did not like me or my family or friends, despite having supported their business over the last two years. I would still recommend this place to any travelers because it is one of the best in the Bad Vilbel and surrounding area. And Nieder Erlenbach is a GEM of a town. You will love it

Sehr nah am Obsthof am Steinberg

Der Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und lecker. Das Hotel ist fußläufig vom Obsthof am Steinberg und bittet sich, um nach einer Veranstaltung dort zu übernachten. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war sehr sauber.

Auch wenn es für uns keinen Problem war, es gibt keinen Aufzug und sehr viele Stufen, um zu den Zimmern zu gelangen. Anders als erwartet gibt es keine Parkplätze am Hotel, sondern nur an der Straße.

In dem Zimmer ( Nr. 16 ) das wir gebucht hatten , konnte die Duschwand nur unter großer Anstrengung geschlossen beziehungsweise geschlossen werden. Etwas verwinkelt der Gang zu unserem Zimmer.

Das Zimmer ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und recht eng. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr Sauberkeit insbesondere der wenigstens vorhandenen Kapselmaschine gewünscht. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig und wenn man eine Vollauslastung des Hotels hat, könnte das frühe Schlafengehen oder langes Ausschlafen schwierig werden - was aber wohl auch sehr an mittlerweile üblichen rücksichtslosen Mit-Gästen liegt und nicht am Hotel!!

Empfehlenswert - gemütliches Dorf-Hotel mit Restaurant im Frankfurter Norden

Wir hatten eines der renovierten Zimmer im 2. OG zur Straße "Zur Obermühle" gelegen. Einrichtung neu, geschmackvolle Innenarchitektur. Laminatboden, kein Teppichboden (Super!). Gutes, gesichertes WLAN. Freundliche Menschen an Rezeption und im Restaurant. Frühstück prima. Restaurant - unbedingt mal dort essen: gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr lecker (regionale, bayerische und allgemein deutsche Küche, auch mit saisonaler Sonderkarte). Hotel hat zwar keinen eigenen Parkplatz, aber es war in unmittelbarer Umgebung immer etwas frei. Zwei Minuten Fußweg bis zur Bushaltestelle am Rathaus, von dort aus hervorragende ÖPNV-Verbindung nach Frankfurt - zur Messe nur 1x umsteigen. Hier kommen wir gern wieder hin, wenn wir in Frankfurt und Umgebung (Bad Homburg v.d.H., Oberursel, Bad Vilbel, etc.) sind. Empfehlung für Gäste: bitte unbedingt nach einem der renovierten Zimmer fragen!

Nur Kleinigkeiten: kein Lift, also Koffer über die Treppe in den 2. Stock. Kissen könnten größer und weniger schlapp gefüllt sein. Beleuchtung über Bewegungsmelder bitte etwas länger aktiviert lassen: war immer schon dunkel, bevor Schlüssel im Schloss war. Ein Safe im Zimmer wäre nett.

Waren nur für eine Übernachtung da. Das Zimmer war sauber, ordentlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen.

Het was erg warm in de kamer. Het hotelpersoneel was niet erg vriendelijk. De ontvangst had wel wat hartelijker gemogen. Het eten in het restaurant was qua smaak erg matig en wel duur.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf,wij waren voor de tweede keer te gast en komen graag de volgend.

Wij kregen een appartement aangeboden voor dezelfde prijs.Ontbijt was ook goed en voor mijn man was er ook glutenvrij ontbijt waar wij om gevraagd hadden en werd netjes bezorgd aan tafel.

In het appartement was geen airconditioning maar wel een ventilator wat door de hitte ondanks de hoogste stand niet echt koelde.Het was overdag ook 32 graden.
