Lovely property near Voss. Stayed in conjunction with the scenic train and and Alfrend was an enthusiastic greeter at the station at prompt pickup. Idyllic setting w breathtaking views. The history of the place is remarkable. Best of all, the dinner. I would say worth a trip from anywhere. Just scrumptious. The trout was done to tender moist perfection. The venison tasty and also so tender. Every bite on the plate was sublime. Huge towels, perfect mattress and bedding. Goat bells in the vicinity. Charming!

Hard to mention anything. Coffee and Breakfast may start a bit late but it worked before our train. No kettle but the nice lady kindly gave us a a carafe to carry coffee to our room.

The property and room were exactly like the photos. A cute, small and intimate family run hotel and restaurant. It was located right in Voss, just 5 minutes from the main road. The food was excellent - dinner at the restaurant at night is different every day, and breakfast is included. They use only farm grown or local ingredients for everything. It was quiet and peaceful on the property.

Only feedback would be the rooms on the one side face the parking and cars - couldn’t have our windows open at all.

Beautiful pastoral setting. - hills, mountain, lake. Very nice owners and staff. The restaurant on site , Flor'n, had excellent good and the servers all very nice and friendly. Lovingly renovated property with quality materials and workmanship.

Pillows need to be changed out for fresh ones. Luggage racks eeded in the room.
