Quiet and clean. Good sized room with nice view from the balcony. Balestrand offers a few dining options.
Hotel generally a bit shabby.

The gentleman that runs this cute hotel was so helpful and kind. You can tell he cares about his family owned business. His family ran this and he took it over and has been doing this for a while. The breakfast was amazing for such a small area. Loaded will do many wonderful things. He recommended the restaurant Baalee for dinner and oh boy was it a great suggestion! There is also a great hike right up the road that you can walk to the trail head. Balconies had great views! Very happy with our stay.

The hotel was set in a beautiful, quaint fjord village. The host was charming and helpful, and offered an excellent quality breakfast. We left feeling well taken care of and grateful for the hospitality.

The location, breakfast and ambience were exceptional.
No TV, no coffee or tea facilities in the room which is a general expectation.
