We use Brioude as a stop off on the way from the S of France, and La Sapiniere is lovely place to stay. Room clean, well maintained & spotless bathroom; super garden space to wander with the dogs. Breakfast buffet very fresh & tasty with local made conserves & cheese. Will definitely use again. parking close to rooms. 10 min stroll into centre ville. Little swimming pool of you have time.

It was an easy walk into town. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit. There was a full length mirror in the room.
The pictures are very misleading. The 'large' room we booked was an average size, the swimming pool is tiny and opening hours meant we could not use it.
The hotel is closed during the day. Not only can you not check in to your room you can't access the hotel at all. (We were allowed in early by a pleasant man who found us searching the exterior of the hotel on arrival.
Generally, the price paid was far above what the facilies merited.
