Great hospitality, beautiful house with all you might need. Great breakfast in the morning, ready at the hour of your choosing. The place is not located in a village, but there are two nice restaurants at walking distance. The location was perfect as the stopover for our bikepacking weekend.

Superbe

L'emplacement, petite rue en cul de sac, pavée, avec des places de parking en face. Très mignon. Départ d'une balade à pied possible juste au fond de la rue. Les hôtes sont vraiment très gentils et accueillants, ainsi que discrets. Très jolie maison bien aménagée, avec des équipements modernes. Nous logons à l'étage qui comprend un WC séparé, une salle de bain, une petite pièce style salle à manger avec micro ondes, bouilloire et vaisselle, ainsi que deux chambres, l'une avec un grand lit l'autre avec deux lits jumeaux. C'est très propre, linge propre lavé de frais, douche très belle et pratique. Très jolie terrasse. Nous y sommes allés avec nos deux enfants de 9 mois et 2 ans et demi, bébé a dormi avec nous, et notre fils de 2 ans et demi dans un grand lit jumeau, mais on nous a fourni une barrière pour l'empêcher de tomber. Il y a également une chaise haute à disposition. Le petit déjeuner se prend en bas dans la salle à manger séparée, extrêmement bien fourni et servi avec amour. Un merveilleux séjour pour nous.

Comme nous dormions avec notre bébé au milieu de nous, mon conjoint était fort proche du bord du lit (nous avons un lit plus grand chez nous) et le matelas étant assez mou, ce n'était pas très confortable (risque de chuter). Mis à part ça, rien à dire.

Het verblijf is mooi, schoon & in huiselijke sfeer. Bij het ontbijt ontbrak er aan niets, alleen maar lof. Gastvrijheid staat hier bovenaan, een dikke aanrader!

Charmante Gastgeber und eine schöne Umgebung.

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und fürsorglich, das Häuschen war sehr süß und wunderbar ruhig gelegen. Jeden Morgen gab es ein liebevolles Frühstück mit Obstsalat, Ei, Käse und frischem Orangensaft. Das Zimmer wurde zwischendurch gereinigt und es wurde sich um den Abwasch und den Abfall gekümmert. Wir konnten super abschalten und Urlaub machen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, aber liegt gut, um nach Ypern, Diksmuide oder Nieuwpoort zu kommen. Von der Unterkunft kann man direkt mit dem Fahrrad auf die Frontroute 14-18 und diverse andere Fahrradwege kommen. Das Fahrradnetz in Belgien ist ausgezeichnet. Für WW1 Touristen ein idealer Ort (so wie wir es geplant hatten), wir haben so viele Museen und Friedhöfe besucht und haben immer noch nicht alles geschafft. Die Betten waren bequem, in beiden Zimmern war die Möglichkeit ein SmartTV zu nutzen vorhanden. Schönes Bad und Dusche, ein kleiner Aufenthaltsraum. Kochen kann man hier leider nicht, das sollte man vorher wissen. Es gibt aber eine Mikrowelle und einen Wasserkocher. Die Fahrräder durften wir in der abschließbaren Garage unterstellen. Im Ort selbst hatte nur ein (sehr gutes) Restaurant geöffnet. Essen gehen ist in Belgien - für deutsche Verhältnisse - teuer. Im Nachbarort gibt es aber eine sehr gute Pizzeria. Wenn man unterwegs ist in Diksmuide oder Ypern kann man seine Abendessen entsprechend planen. Flandern ist wunderschön ländlich und perfekt für Naturliebhaber, Fahrradfahren, spazieren gehen, auch Wassersport ist auf der Iser möglich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Zeer vriendelijk onthaal. Het ontbijt was heel lekker en zeker voldoende. Eigenaars waren zeer zorgzaam en behulpzaam voor mijn mama en mijn zoon.
