The Millen Penang, Autograph Collection

The room is spacious and clean, bed is comfy. My room is with Seaview. The view is fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

I had a stay at The Millen Penang from 5–7 July 2026 Commendable: A) exceptional hospitality shown by the Lili restaurant team. They were warm, attentive, and made me genuinely feel well looked after throughout my dining experience. B) I would also like to commend the security guard at the car park, who greeted me warmly every time I entered or exited the hotel. C) The staff member on duty at the swimming pool also deserves recognition. He was helpful, and took the initiative to introduce the pool facilities. Areas to be improved: A) Before my arrival, I had emailed the hotel to let them know that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and was informed that a simple room decoration would be arranged. While I appreciate the hotel’s effort, the decoration was rather minimal and did not quite meet my expectations for a special occasion. B) other area that could be improved is the front desk. While the check-in and check-out processes were smooth, I felt the receptionists could be be warmer and more welcoming to create the same first impression demonstrated by the other team members.

I’m just gonna start this off with if you’re ever in Penang, just book the Millen and thank me later. After a long ride from the airport, we were warmly received by the front house and one of the mvps for this trip, Sharmini who made sure that an info many mths before abt celebrating my partner’s bday there was well received and she even gave us many pleasant surprises to have made this trip even more joyous. Upon stepping into the room, we were already blown away by the scenic view of the sea at the bedroom and the bathroom. Imagine just soaking in the bathtub after a long day of walking to just crisp blue water and zoning out. The bed and even the selection of pillows were one of the best we’ve had thus far which allowed us solid gd sleep all 3 nights. Breakfast was great with the semi buffet and ala carte selections and the staff were all so attentive and pleasant to interact with :) Location was great as we were even able to do our runs towards gurney park nearby and even towards other attractions. Opposite the hotel lies a great food court which serves a fantastic plate of char kway teow. The only gripe we had was that the trip was really too short. We will definitely be back real soon and thank you to all the staff at the Millen, it really was a memorable stay there!
