Park Hotel Stara Zagora

We stayed 3 days, 2 nights. Great place, interior, exterior, surroundings, so relaxing straight on the Zagorka lake, with birds chirping, fishermen, all greenery around, just what we needed away from the hustle and bustle of our busy everyday life. Great connection on the public transport 5 min walk from the hotel Check in was really quick, the guy answered all our questions, made suggestions we asked for. The hotel is very clean all over, the room overlooking the lake, excellent spa facilities, just the Turkish bath was out of use. And if you would like a massage you need to make a request a week in advance, which we didn't know. May be it should have been mentioned on the Web. Big nice bathroom, just there wasn't vanity kit, neither dental kit, nor shaving kit. I had to call twice the reception to get a dental kit, because my toothbrush battery betrayed me... There is a nespresso coffee machine in the room, for a fee, minibar, safe, comfortable bed with spare bedding . There were water bikes to use complimentary, which we couldn't do, because the wet weather didn't allow Administrations for the lovely breakfast and amazing lady who worked there. Huge variety, tasty and fresh, with a good coffee machine, nice relaxing music. The only thing we didn't like during our stay and I think is not appropriate for a luxury splendid place like that, was the service in the restaurant. We went there on the 12th June2026, at 16.09 . It was quite, not busy. The name of the waitress who served us was Dimitrina, according to the receipt. She was quite rude since she came to take the order. We asked what kind of beers they offer, she went through the pages on the menu to show us where they were written. It would have saved her time to politely tell us that instead. Bad first impression. The chips we ordered were just "thrown " in the bowl, oily and burnt, not her fault, but I wouldn't have served them. We left them. At the end she nearly told us off we didn't have the exact chande and how if she returned us a change she wouldn't have any left and insistingon that. That was really rude. We never get back there and it was raining we had to go somewhere else to eat, which was a shame. That couldn't ruin the lovely time we had in Stara Zagora and the amazing stay in the Park Hotel. We highly recommend it. We will come back again

Great location. Spacious rooms with lake view. Nice spa center and pool.

We stayed only one night. Everything was good, but not very good. Our experience wasn't five stars, maybe some years earlier it could have been.

Too far from the center. We were not warned that a dinner reservation was required at the only restaurant in the area. We had to walk more than 2.5 km to have dinner and then walk back. There is a great park and lake around.
