Luxury for cheap

Good location, the restaurant was great, rooms were clean and cosy, only the windows were a little dirty.

Staff seemed annoyed with everything.

Don't book when event on at Orfeida restaurant

Hotel staff st reception were friendly and helpful.

We booked because the Orfeida restaurant is very good but they had an event on and was full, no other option but to find and drive to another restaurant. Difficult to get back to hotel as cars parked everywhere which meant reversing as no room to pass and nowhere to park for residents. Deluxe room we expected usual lake view but only overlooked back of hotel and car park. All 'hot' breakfast options were in containers with heaters, none of which had been switched on which I had to do but still most options not warm. No tea bags in room, tiny cups. Disappointing stay this time.

Everything you need

I liked the location, the view from our room (full view of the park), the overall elegance of the place, the facilities - for example having both shower and bathtub in the bathroom, being very close to the park, finding everything you need even for a short stay or if you're less prepared, the excelent breakfast with so many options.

Nothing specifically, maybe the bed could be less hard.

Great location, beautiful scenery outside, pleasant restaurants, nice bathroom, friendly staff.

Worn-out interior in the room, TV not working, two single beds moved to form a double bed so that there is no bed board above one of the beds with electricity sockets directly above instead.

Feels like a royal palace.

Absolutely beautiful rooms - feels like a royal. Very friendly staff at the dinner restaurant. Beautiful area with the lake and big parking lot with nice landscaping all around.

Too bad there is not a place outside to have a morning coffee. Breakfast was poor and had no staff. The left elevator needs service ;-)

Nice hotel for families

Very nice location toward Black Sea. Spa , swimming pool, nice breakfast.

Only the steam bath was working, staff was not so friendly, smoking in the restaurant. No massage available ( this is 4th time that we ask and no availability)

A nice stay by the lake

A nice clean hotel, a little bit over-decorated, by the lake. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. Nothing to complaint.

Beautiful location , quiet rooms, but breakfast could be better

Unique location at Zagorka lake, in the middle of Bedechka park. The hotel itself has a very stylish architectural design and is very posh inside. Very quiet and tranquil, the view is beautiful, we enjoyed watching the herd of nutrias, that are living around the lake, grazing and swimming every morning. The property is clean and maintained. The spa center albeit small is clean and neat. The staff was the best, especially the young man at the reception who took the best care of us and gave us a very good room.

For the stars and the price, there is room for improvement: the shower head was dripping, and the shower cabin had a leak. The breakfast was disappointing-no fresh juices, just some bland liquid from a machine (I guess one of those soluble “juices “), no black tea, no plant-based milk, the coffee machine needs urgent descaling (it was spitting out pieces of limescale in our cup), also not a lot of variety of foods. It will be nice as well if the restaurant offers more traditional Bulgarian dishes, a lot of foreigners are looking forward to discovering the delicious Bulgarian cuisine.

Probably the best place to stay in Stara Zagora

We especially appreciated the very nice surroundings and the breakfast. There is a great restaurant with garden onsite which presumably is of a superior quality but we did not have the chance to try it due to other arrangements we had. Room amenities were also of a very good quality (we rented an apartment). The receptionist is also a very friendly lady and can give you good guidances for local specifics.

The fitness shares same room with the spa center and the swimming pool therefore is a bit humid and difficult to do intense exercises. In the common areas was a bit warm as the airconditioning seemed to be off, but in the rooms was all great so we did not bother.

Hotel location-amazing. Dinner restaurant - amazing set and view. Dinner taste - great. Waiter attitude - great and funny and friendly. Very elegant hotel, very nice, smiley, friendly staff

Breakfast can be improved, and more variaty. Cofee cups had no little plates, for capuccino were no bigger cups. The dinner night before was amazing, so breakfast didn t match.

Great place and very nice hotel. Beautiful natural surrounding and comfortable rooms.

The hotel is located right next to a beautiful lake and park with freely walking ducks. The surrounding is like a fairy tail. We were there in the spring and it was perfect. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, especially the bed. There is a mall at walking distance. We would definitely visit again.

Not very well maintained breakfast and not the best products.l Most of the time there weren't any staff during breakfast. But we were there for Easter and there were colored eggs and kozunak, which was very nice.

Breakfast was more varied that on previous stays. Quite a lot of choice.

Pool didn't open before 10am, would have liked it to be earlier. Room was about 50% smaller than on previous stays but sufficient for us.

The girl that take our order at breakfast was very rude. We were the only people at restaurant and wait around 20 minutes to order and after she come I told her about that and she really doesn’t care. That’s why I give low rating.

Superb

The hotel is great, with an old-style massive furniture appearance, in a big park green area, near a lake with local fisherman's, the breakfast was very nice also the restaurant food quality is exceptional, you shall definitely try it. The rooms were clean, and neighborhood is quiet.

The hotel air conditioning installation (local ceiling ventiloconvector) produced some noise during the night, I was able to fix them only partially by moving gently the room air inlet opening, the room temperature was kept as the value I request, but the noises were not good ...
