Canadians - we love Italy

The staff were incredibly professional. Very attentive. Mostly friendly. Those restaurant staff sure work their buns off, especially the tiny woman who carries all those plates on that huge tray. She never stops moving! The hostess at the front who always wears her sunglasses was very very nice to us. It was a pleasure to see her every meal. She does a great job and works ALOT with long days. The woman who stands near the buffet was so cute and friendly. Very helpful when I was choosing items... Please thank her. The fitness clerk (I can't recall her name, but I talked about nails with her, well she was so lovely. It was nice that she could speak English to me. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were immucalate. And our room was cleaned very promptly when we left which was nice as we returned to a nice clean room for our mid day cool off. We really enjoyed the beach with very good sand, and the cafe by the beach had great bartenders. Very nice and they remembered us every day. If I lived in Italy and not Canada, I would definitely return.

I would have preferred my cappucinio and latte, cafe, to be real and not from an instant machine.. But it was pretty good. I also would have really loved complimentary coffee in our room as we like to have coffee when we wake up and get ready for the day. Having to go down to the restaurant is fine but we would have really loved it if coffee was included in our room as we paid for the half board. I also would have appreciated free water at dinner time. Lastly, we did workout in the gym. We didn't know the footwear rule and the female trainer in the gym could have been a little nicer letting my husband know he needed runners instead of his sandals,instead of yelling at him from across the gym and embarrassing him.

We booked the stay for a summer beachside umbrella and we got that exactly.

The food in the on property restaurant is barely edible. The seafood platter was served with uncooked shellfish with the waste products still intact. I nearly vomited when dinner arrived and I realized what was in front of me. The breakfast buffet included with the stay was either undercooked or over cooked. The coffee is served from an automatic machine, the fruit juices are so concentrated that the sugar makes one gag from the sweetness. The breads are clearly made in an assembly line. Nothing about the food experience at this property is worthy of Italy. If you stay here, eat in the town not far away where there are half a dozen better options.

3 nights but a 5 star stay!

A superb 3 night stay at the RDS. The staff were all very welcoming, very presentable and friendly. The hotel itself feels spacious and rooms decorated in a modern style. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by pine trees and a private beach on your doorstep. It is also in a great location for heading into nearby Castiglione Della Pescaia for a change of scenery. We hired bikes from a shop across the road and there's a cycle path directly outside the hotel to town. There is a well appointed gym and spa although I didn't try the treatments given how relaxed I already felt during my stay and the pool area is large enough to spend a few hours of the day lazing around. We had a lovely evening meal at the restaurant and breakfast options were plentiful and varied.

We stayed in a classic room which had lovely classy decor, a large TV, comfy bed, spacious walk in shower although it was a little bit on the small side. Ordered a sandwich from the outside bar/cafe for a quick bite to eat by the pool one afternoon which was very disappointing given the standard of everything else was great. Visiting the small onsite supermarket would have been a better bet for a tastier light snack.

It was very clean. The sea water was also very clean. The staff was very nice.

It's way TOO expensive for what it offers. On Booking the pictures look fancier than in reality. It's just a simple and boring resort, which in September was full of old people from Germany. Not the best place for a young couple like us. The beach is not very nice, the sunbeds and umbrellas look very cheap.

Location is great. Facilities are clean and numerous.

Our family stayed there for 4 nights in 2 connecting rooms. Our Wifi did not work all 4 days. Staff was making excuses but did not address the problem. Also, the Air Conditioning made noise. We complained since we could not sleep for the first 2 nights. They solved the issue on the third day of our stay. The breakfast restaurant was understaffed. Had to wait 30 minutes for coffee. They constantly ran out of breakfast items. Staff was apologetic but nothing ever happened. Just horrible experience for spending Euro 3000 for 4 nights. Senior Management never approached us or tried to apologize for the inconvenience.

The location, the beach, the see. The staff and everybody were more than professional. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't like the fact that if you get up at 6 am you can't buy a cup of coffee anywhere. A small coffee maker in the room would be a great idea. It comes today in most hotels with lesser number of stars. :) The breakfast was delicious but I think that it could be a bigger variety of food because after third day I was a little bit bored. I admit I am nit picking but I expected a bit more from a 4 star resort.

La struttura è molto bella, moderna e in linea con la categoria 4 stelle S. Gli spazi comuni sono curati e l’ambiente nel complesso trasmette ordine e qualità. Le camere sono confortevoli e ben arredate, anche se ho notato che non sono perfettamente insonorizzate: questo può essere un aspetto da considerare soprattutto per chi viaggia con bambini piccoli. In particolare, per le famiglie suggerirei di evitare la tipologia Riva Comfort e orientarsi verso altre soluzioni più adatte.

Un paio di suggerimenti: • sarebbe molto utile prevedere un mangiapannolini nelle stanze, così da rendere il soggiorno delle famiglie più pratico; • al bar potrebbe essere inserita la possibilità di ordinare piatti caldi “basici” per bambini piccoli, un servizio che semplificherebbe molto i pasti; • la scelta dell’upselling del ristorante Al Fresco, probabilmente, non ripagherà della decisione e rischia di non incontrare pienamente le aspettative degli ospiti

Bella location, resort per famiglie. Ma hanno messo un ristorante "adults only" nell'unico punto vista mare 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Doppia coppia + bimbo di 3 mesi 1. Persona celiaca del gruppo si è sentita male nonostante la pasta senza glutine. 2. In 4 adulti + 1 bambino, tutti con problemi di stomaco (mai successo prima). 3. Prezzi del cibo altissimi e ingiustificati: 28€ per secondi mediocri. 4. Piscina invasa dai piccioni che defecano continuamente su sdraie e acqua. 4. Molte attrazioni chiuse (minigolf, ecc.) e orari dei ristoranti assurdi per un resort: chiusura alle 14:30 a pranzo e 21:30 a cena. Dopo 4.000€ spesi per 10 giorni, ci hanno pure addebitato 52€ per un semplice portasapone. Una struttura che si presenta come di lusso ma che, per esperienza diretta, non offre né qualità né attenzione al cliente. prezzi alti, camere piccole e letti scomodi, parcheggio difficile. Peccato grande delusione.

Strand und Frühstück im Terrassenbereich sind ok. Abendessen im Restaurant mit Meerblick (Rauchverbot) grundsätzlich ok. Parkplätze möglich und grundsätzlich ok, Service generell ok.

Grundsätzlich ist die angebotene Leistung ok. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nur bedingt ok, wenn man es mit Terracina oder Palinuro vergleicht. Für Familien ohne besondere Ansprüche jedenfalls eine Option. Grundsätzlich und alles in allem genommen nicht übel.
