Austeria Klezmer Hois

I booked this hotel for 3 of our 6 nights in Krakow because I wanted something traditional and beautiful and this hotel exceeded all expectations. We booked a nearby more modern 4-star hotel for the other 3 nights of our stay and I found myself deeply missing Austeria Klezmer Hois after we left. The only reason we decided to stay in a more modern hotel for half of our trip was because I was worried about the lack of AC and though our room was admittedly warm, it wasn't unbearable, even in 30+ degree heat. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom had plentiful amenities. Having the windows open and hearing the ambient sounds of the square outside was utterly blissful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. Berosh was a warm face to return to every evening, and always said hello with a smile.

It’s an authentic hotel but very well preserved. Big and comfortable room. Nice bathroom.

No elevator

Charming and characterful house in an interesting district a short walk from the main square. Lots of pre- war antique gurniture, and books everywhere, because it's also publishing house or bookseller - r eally atmospheric. Staff were very helpful.

The only small downside was that wifi signal was weak.

The breakfast was very good, the staff communicated well

My room was horrible, it was under the roof from very small window above, which wasn’t give any light even in the middle of the day. I was feeling as I am in prison, the bathroom was across the corridor, that’s so inconvenient, please avoid those hotel or make sure you’re reading carefully, I didn’t expect to pay 125 pounds for the room for a night in this condition. Worse room which I had in my very long experience of travel.
