Bath quite narrow

So good. I just wish that they plain food. The stake I had was the best I have had in a long time.

Location was brilliant - lovely and peaceful. Staff all friendly - especially the older blonde lady (she was young but all others seemed to be teenagers. Could have been manager as seemed in charge). Food was excellent - we had the steak in the evening and my wife exclaimed it was the best she had ever had!

Breakfast a bit costly, menu a little confusing as you have to pay for all items individually. A hot and continental option would work much better. Main issues: We had a lot of spiders and cobwebs in the room. We tried to ignore but they were crawling on clothes and bed throughout the night. We asked for room to be cleaned at breakfast. Then the boy tasked with the job said he had done it, but hadn’t. We had to complain and then sit outside and wait after a long tiring day for someone else to clean so we had to buy drink whilst waited. The girl then did a fab job. Manager (I assume she was, lovely lady) was very apologetic and could see she was disappointed in staff member who didn’t clean. They gave us out £20 breakfast on the house to apologise. Very nice venue, and clean in respect of everything else. Just a lot of cobwebs/long leg spiders around. We live in the Welsh hills so usually can ignore but was too much once crawling on us in night. Also you would expect high standard for the price you pay. I do have images but I won’t share as the venue and staff are lovely so wouldn’t want to put anyone off staying.

Nothing much. People were casually courteous and friendly.

The old dirty and stained carpet in my room. The room is too small for the furniture, you couldn't move around properly and everything smelled of wet dogs and damp, except the bedlinen thank goodness. Food was not what is advertised, Reheated, overcooked dry lamb shank with a very ordinary gravy. Where is the ginger and other lovely flavors advertised? The veg was meagre, three tiny potatoes, three skinny carrots and three canned mini corn cobs.
