Good location and friendly hosts but could do with a bit of sprucing up

The area was nice, the hosts were very friendly, and it’s a good size for two people.

We had no heating for two mornings in a row, which in for waking up and getting ready in November is a problem. The property could do with some sprucing up. The carpet in the living room needs a thorough clean, the shower door needs fixing/realigning, the electric candle in the bedroom was without batteries. For the cost, the upkeep of the flat isn’t up to scratch.

Location was fabulous as so close to the convention centre. Free parking - for 2 cars - was a welcome, added bonus! Plenty of towels available for our stay. Free, strong wifi. Great-size smart TV in the lounge. Plenty of bathroom tissue rolls.

No lock on bathroom door. Bathroom had a paricularly bad ‘drain’ smell. No hooks to hang wet towels on. Only 4 chairs for 5 guests at the table. Bathroom shelf a tad unsteady. Some pillows on beds need replacing. Think apt is more suited to 4 guests.

Well located and very clean and full size Kitchen appliances, would highly recommend.

Friendly on arrival the rooms were very clean and very well equipped. We loved the fact it had a separate kitchen area and full size appliances, the water pressure in the kitchen was very strong. The location is fantastic being close to the main town area and also close to the conference centre. we will stay here again.

The main bed was a little uncomfortable and the Settee as it was a sofa bed was not the most comfy place to sit in the evening, but I understand why this is the case. It would have been nice to have a table or an area to sit at to eat dinner, there was a small breakfast counter to sit at but it was not really very suitable for an evening meal.

Don’t plan on coming back to Harrogate or booking anything other than hotels in future.

Dirty, tired and completely unlike the photographs so I can only assume that these are either friends or they stayed somewhere else. Grim views out of both bedrooms, dirty and completely misrepresented. Does anybody from Booking check these places? I fed up with booking accommodation that falls well below standard.

Fantastic apartment in fab location

Jan was so warm, welcoming and friendly. She showed us the best place to park and set us up with parking permits, showed us into the property and where the local restaurant was that were visiting and confirmed check out logistics.

The apartment was great but a little sparse on decor. This was fine for our purposes and didn't affect comfort in any way. The online confirmation experience through booking.com was a little cold, in contrast to the lovely warmth of the host, Jan, so don't be put off!

It was OK, but definitely not an example of “elite living” as per the marketing.

Good location. Quiet street, but noise from neighbouring property’s television heard through the walls.

Bed mattress was sagging. The wardrobe only had one wire hanger. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. The kitchen had no wiping-up cloth, tea towel hand towel or dishwasher instructions.

Fantastic!

The location was quiet, easy to get into the town centre. The owners were lovely. The apartment was clean, and the beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. There is plenty of hot water. The blind was Blackout, so the room was nice and dark for sleeping at night. Could also raise it and look at the sky hence the apartment's name - stargazer.

The stay was made so easy. We were met straight away by the staff and walked to our apartment.. We were given parking permits which covered our whole stay. The apartment was clean, stylish and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Did not go for the breakfast option - we were in the self-catering apartments. Kettle, oven and hobs were fine. Shower fine. Curtains nice and thick - we like it dark at night (and early morning!)>

Could not get toaster to work in one apartment and both had food residues on/in from previous use. Some transmission through of noise from below/above despite carpets!

The location is 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 mins from the Convention Centre - perfectly located. The apartment was clean spacious and very comfortable - we didn’t get much chance to enjoy it as we’re at a conference all weekend but we all want to return. Pat and her husband were fantastic hosts - giving useful tips on where to eat and their breakfasts are the perfect start to the day. We cannot recommend enough !

Nothing expect we didn’t have enough spare time to enjoy the apartment or see Harrogate but we intend to return

A wonderful 4 night stay in a superb 2 bedroom apartment located in an excellent and quiet street minutes from the charming centre of Harrogate. Every aspect of our family weekend stay was marvellous. The 2 bedrooms were beautifully maintained, clean and very comfortable, one even had an en suite! The main bathroom was considerably larger than I expected with a tremendous shower! The heating was also impressive and highly efficient. The kitchen and living room had everything we required for a family of 3 for a long weekend. I also want to give a special mention to the terrific host and owner who could not have been more kind and welcoming which was very much appreciated. Definitely hope and intend to return here in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend anybody keen to visit Harrogate to choose this property to stay in. I can confidently say, you will not be disappointed!

Clean, well furnished convenient apartment.

Tea facility was there but ,after day 1 we ran out of supplies and it was not topped up until we left. There is no daily house keeping as mentioned in the brief. Parking space is struggle , it gets filled up before you know on street. Then nothing on full 2 roads and found a tricky spot and stayed worried until early morning moved my car. Mattress was too uneven for us and did not like it.

The apartment was well set out, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

There was a faulty drainage system in the en suite. Not the fault of the owners, just one of those things. I thought a little more info in the welcome booklet would be helpful.
