Polite staff, good location, unclean

The location

The room was really unclean. When we arrived there was used dental floss in the bin and everywhere was so dusty. So much so within 10minutes I couldn’t stop sneezing. There were hairs in the bathroom. It really put a downer on the stay as otherwise we would have been happy enough.

We enjoyed the hotel.

Larger room. Refrigerator didn't work when we arrived; staff had to swap it out. The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work at all. We communicated this to staff; they checked it but said they couldn't swap it out. My wife had to use the hair dryer contained in the closet, but this had to be plugged in outside the bathroom.

Very friendl team at reception, professional , helpful and english king size bed, daily towels, friendly breakfast team, beautiful breakfast room, great restaurant at the corner plus supermarket

room size, bath size, breakfast, but we see and understand heavy limitations in space due to the building size, a minibar should find place. request for welcome snacks and champagner at arrival at surcharge would be cool to be answered and help to relax but there is a supermarket anyway.

Location!, a short taxi drive to the Arc de Triomph. With numerous high quality restaurants on the same street, in a pleasant area. Friendly and trustworthy staff, and a satisfying breakfast.

Hotel orices in Paris are high but this hotel offers clean, comfortable accommodation that covers all the basics in a go

Very clean, updated bathroom facilities, good area with grocery stores, bars, restaurants and Metro/train station nearby. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.

Water pressure a bit low in the shower and it leaked onto the floor whilst in use. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

N/A… the beds were the only saving grace any they were just passable

Disappointed with most of the stay, one female member of staff was blatantly rude, we wanted to take all of our belongings into the room and were denied. We then came to an agreement that some would be left in the hallway at reception. Of course we were not impressed whilst being in one of the worst cities for theft. Luckily a male member of staff was working later in the evening and provided a separate room for us to store our possessions, for us to come down in the morning and meet the lady who had thrown them out, into the reception in plain sight, as well as damaging some. Discussing customer service and none of the photos on booking.com really resembled the room or building. Avoid at all costs!!!

The breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable, the area feels very safe even at night. Has a Laundromat around the corner, as well as many restaurants around. There are two metro stations walking distance and bus stops, which are great.

Truth in advertising ... if your property is being worked on tell guests BEFORE booking/paying

I chose this hotel because I wanted something in an older building a little out of the way but close enough that we could walk to where we needed to go. This hotel delivered. It was a little off the beaten path but close and safe enough that we could easily get to where we wanted to go.

The outside of the building had scaffolding erected so on arrival the "look" of the building was not what I would have expected, particularly with no notice, but it really became a problem with the wrap and metal of the scaffolding banging and crashing around during the evenings. I had already paid for the room and didn't feel we could leave so we tried to make due until one morning after a particularly loud night the staff commented that my daughter and I looked "very tired" and I expressed frustration over the noise. I'm not sure what they did but for the next two nights it was much better. In terms of the physical space, I was warned that Paris rooms are often quite small so I was expecting that, but there was wall paper that was torn above the head of the bed, and the shower surround was not installed correctly which caused major "flood" issues after each shower. Additionally the tub was extremely deep and didn't have any grab bars with made getting in and out of it difficult for both my daughter and I who are "height challenged".

Location was good. Room was small but correct. There was place to put the suitcase + a good closet.

There was no soap to wash the hands... only in the shower. Would have been good to have 2 glasses for water and the tooth brush. It would be good to have a kettle and some tea (as there was a coffee machine)
