We had a fantastic stay at Baytree House. The owner was lovely and friendly and happy to do anything for you. The room was just as the photos suggest and very spacious. The 4-poster bed was very comfortable and the rolltop bath a delight to soak in! There's a complimentary continental breakfast of cereal, croissants, toast, jams, fruit, cake, homemade cheesy bread and tea and coffee, and a delicious hot English breakfast for a small extra charge.
It's a short walk to the town centre and High Street one way, or a short walk to the North Beach the other. Baytree offers meals and a bar inside or out, or if you fancy venturing out there's a nice Italian restaurant 'Giardino's' in the park a 5 minute walk away (open in the evening), and Martello Coffee House which is open during the day.

Lovely old house really well maintained and decorated with great style

Self contained flat with little garden
Door to bathroom did not shut well, the plastic sheeting under the bed was all hanging down, draws contained wrapper from previous guest, coffee machine did not work well.

Breakfast poor expected full English by description for price not good or as advertised had to pay extra to upgrade
Service not good had to ask for a drink at breakfast and flies in the bedroom
