I stayed in the upper room known as "The God's". This had a wonderful, almost 360 degree view of Lowestoft. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The room also had a kettle for tea /coffee and a complimentary bottle of water. The room didn't have a toilet, but rather shared facilities down one flight of stairs. My stay was very pleasant and affordable. Would recommend
The three flights of stairs to that particular room may not be accesible for everyone, but it was fine

The location and staff were very good , lots of history in the place and you can tell it's well liked.
Breakfast was very basic and expensive for what it was , no TV in the room nor air conditioning. Could do with upgrading a bit.
