Doesn't look much for the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised. The twin room was huge with high ceilings & large bathroom. The twin beds were two doubles & could sleep 4. Two TV'S, large windows, double aspect even a seaview. The room & building was spotless. The lodge was quiet. Free parking adjacent. It is connected with the Best Western Hotel in front where check-in & check-out is & you can use their restaurant & bar etc.
Definitely a great find.

The hotel is located almost directly next to the beach; however, the nicest beach area is about a 5-minute walk away, so the location is still great.
The hotel is good enough for a longer stay; however, it is missing a fridge and a safe, even though the website states that it offers “safety deposit boxes.”
We stayed during the bank holiday weekend, so it was very hot. There was no air conditioning, and when we opened the windows, the street noise woke us up several times, so we had to keep them closed despite the heat.
The room was a good size. The bathroom shower head holder/rail needs attention, as it was falling down, meaning you had to hold the shower head in your hand while washing your body or hair. Repairs like this should be checked regularly by maintenance staff.
The bed was comfortable, with two pillows of good thickness. Someone previously mentioned that the pillows were too flat; perhaps they have since changed them and added an extra one, so you can use both together.
Breakfast was served in the hotel across the road and was very nice, with a lovely sea view.
The staff were very nice, smiley, and helpful.
Overall, the stay was very nice. The hotel is just missing a safety box, a small fridge in the room, and a few minor repairs to make it even better. I would still recommend the hotel.

Excellent value.Breakfast very good with excellence choice. Rooms clean and more than adequate, particularly for shot stay. All things considered a good decision.

We was in the lodge room 15 not our choice as there was no windows and we felt like we was in a cell , room was very clean but just not our type we was only there one night wouldn’t have been able to stay more than that in that room , previous week was in room 203 and was absolutely brilliant room with sea view so this week was a disappointment.
