Midia Family Resort

This is second time, they improved a bit with entertainment and more sun beds around swimming pools. The staff it was very polite and helpful, the food was good and tasty and the chef was very implicated to please the guests.

In 7 days the cleaners come just to clear the rubbish bin and toilet paper, not changed the towels , bedding sheets or other stuff.

Location, pools,very good value for money

The pools were huge and very clean. They were not too crowded. Very close to a wild beach (sand was ok, the waves not too big) Food was ok most of the times, there was usually enough variety to chose from. The staff was very polite and helpful, especially the boy at the reception and the lifeguards at the slides. Rooms were very spatious with a lot of storage space, cleaned everyday, towels and bedding changed after 3 nights. Overall it was great value for the money we paid.

There were a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach. Since the resort is quite large, maybe they should consider some improvements to the nearby beach. Some of the staff didn't speak english or spoke at a minimal level. Last dinner, the meatballs were only cooked on the outside, and completely raw on the inside. It was a sunday, so maybe they were rushing because it was more crowded than usual, but i think somebody must check the food before putting it out. I gave some to my 3yo without checking them(i noticed after the first bite and did not give him more), 10m after he threw up everything he ate after that. I pointed this out to someone on the staff and all she said was "sorry". I did not check to see if they removed the remaining meatballs from the buffet, as i was quite shaken up by the toddler not feeling well so we left. Overall it was great value for the money we paid.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pools are great and very clean as well. I hadn't booked any food so I had to dine at another restaurant at the hotel and I was not pleased with the quality. However, it was a fair value for money and I did enjoy my vacation. There aren't many options to have food or go out nearby.

A bit of an isolated place, a huge resort it will be very crowded at midsummer.
