SOL by Meliá Nessebar Bay All Inclusive

Very nice staff, clean rooms and common areas. Full of entertainment, ideal for families with kids. Kids animators were really caring and nice. Location is good, easy to go to the old town (with sea taxi, bus or taxi). Besides the main restaurant, it is a very good concept to have national "corners" (german, italian, spain, japanese etc.) with national foods and snacks. We go back next year.

We selected this hotel due to the offered gluten free option. It was ensured but with difficulties and sometimes I felt that shef was not sure what is good. I hope this will be better and better as time goes.

Absolutely everything! From the staff to all the facilities at our disposal. Our vacation with our 3 year old was amazing!

A minor inconvenience, but understandable, was the parking. Due to the limited amount of parking slots.

Piękny i świeżo wyremontowany pokój i łazienka, wygodne i bardzo duże łóżka dla naszej 4 osobowej rodziny, wyśmienite i urozmaicone posiłki wysokiej jakości (mieliśmy okazję spróbować rekina, sushi, jagnięciny, wołowiny itd.), miła i sympatyczna obsługa oraz przede wszystkim wszędzie czyściutko. Plaża okazała się darmowa dla osób nie korzystających z leżaka i parasolki:))

Dźwięki zwierząt wydawane z głośnika nad basenem (za głośno i za często) w dłuższej perspektywie były dla nas uciążliwe. Brak wydzielonych specjalnych stref dla osób palących papierosy.

The hotel was ok - the room was spacious and clean, the balcony was very large (more than expected) and had a drying rack for towels/swimsuits, which is something I usually miss in other hotels. We enjoyed the food - the menu was diverse, and many local dishes were featured.

- Since our stay was in September, almost all additional restaurants were closed. So no Spanish tapas, no burgers, no asian food, just a "German" point with sausages and pretzels. - The offered drinks were made from cheap spirits used in hotels like this. If you enjoy a good cocktail made with high-quality ingredients, this will be a significant disappointment. - When it comes to food, as said, it was tasty and diverse, but my partner suffered a mild food poisoning during our last night, which must have been caused by some sauce or sweet dessert. - The hotel wasn't able to provide a later checkout (the receptionist didn't even check on the computer, just immediately said they are fully booked, even though this was the end of the season). - The hotel's Wi-Fi was painfully unstable - sometimes it worked and had ok speed, but then after a while it stopped working, and this was happening the whole time. - The water in the swimming pools was extremely cold. (Not sure if this is on purpose or not.) The hotel also has an indoor pool with a spa, which was quite hard to find, and it also closes pretty soon. I personally would enjoy sitting in a whirlpool in the evening, when it's already cold outside (bear in mind it's September and an especially cold summer in 2025). But they just close it around 6 p.m. We didn't enjoy the sea as well, because the beach was full of seaweed, which makes swimming unpleasant. - This last point is not related to the hotel itself, but be aware that public transport in Bulgaria is somewhat unreliable. The time tables have the time of departure from the first stop, not the stop where you are waiting, and if the bus comes completely full you will end up waiting another hour for the next one (unless you take taxi).
