I traveled to celebrate both my birthday and my son’s birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the beginning. At check-in, the receptionist questioned my son as an extra adult, even though my reservation was for one adult and one child. My son is 15 years old but may look older. Thankfully, a supervisor stepped in and resolved the situation professionally, which I truly appreciated. During our stay, despite traveling for a birthday celebration, we did not receive any birthday wishes, a card, or any small gesture to acknowledge the occasion. At the restaurant, service was poorly timed. Our main dishes were served only two minutes after we received our starters, which meant that by the time we finished the starter, the main course was already cold. This happened throughout our meals. The most disappointing experience was during check-out. Since we were leaving very early, we initially requested breakfast boxes. We were informed that breakfast starts at 05:00, which worked for us, especially as breakfast was included in our package. However, when we arrived at breakfast, the staff member almost denied us service and had to call reception to confirm that we were allowed to eat. This situation made me very uncomfortable and caused me to lose my appetite. I only stayed so that my son could have his breakfast. Overall, I left feeling very dissatisfied with the experience.
