Beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by a lovely forest and fascinating historic ruins. It feels wonderfully calm and secluded, yet restaurants and supermarkets are less than a 10-minute drive away. The owner was very kind and welcoming. The house itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The only small inconvenience was the shower. Because of the water pressure, the shower head tends to move upwards and spray water outside the shower area, making the bathroom wet. So, we had to hold the shower head while showering to avoid this. Not a big deal, though.

L’emplacement est très agréable et apaisant en pleine nature . Le parc est magnifique. Le gîte est très bien équipé et très propre. Notre chien était bienvenu.

Location, remoteness and view
Rather basic facilities in kitchen. Sofa bed room was in-between other bedroom and kitchen, so no privacy.
