Perfect place to explore Veria

The location of the house is perfect for exploring Veria. Micro location is also great, just above a mountain stream that hums the whole time. Apartment was super clean and easy to use/functional. We very much liked the style of the living room above, really nice and with some view. We did not see the host - late check in and morning check out, but he helped us by very punctual and useful instructions via WhatsApp. Would recommend for a trip to Veria, a surprisingly nice town at the foothills of Epirus mountains.

History meets smart civil engineering

Excellent option for the town of Veroia, a beautiful and spacious house, impeccably renovated while respecting the rules of preserved architectural buildings. Comfortable beds, perfectly clean, large sitting room, delicate decorations. Didn't expect such a marvelous deal to be honest.

I would stay here longer

Beautiful house in the old part of the city. I haven't come across such a well-restored old house in a long time. A wonderful terrace. The apartment consists of two rooms on the ground floor and a large living room with a kitchen on the second floor. The rooms are small and dark, but this is normal for old houses. The apartment is suitable for families with a maximum of two children. It would be difficult to fit four adults due to the smaller bed in one of the rooms. The furnishings are perfect. The kitchen has a large refrigerator and stoves. There is no oven, but it is enough. Nearby is the modern city center where you can buy snacks. The owner is extremely kind. Assists in finding the house, restaurants to eat and sightseeing. The place is also suitable for visiting the town of Vergina, with the tomb of Philip II of Macedon. At the end, I will quote the words of my 11-year-old daughter, "I would stay here longer, it's great."

Ι believe that this could be the best place in Veria. Ideal location, next to the river, in the most picturesque neighbourhood of the city, centrally located. Beautiful architecture and interior, very spacious and exceptionally clean. Our host was also very kind, generous and helpful. Obviously, strongly recommended!

The fact that they haven’t thought to put some bottles of water into the fridge. Ok you can drink water from the tub but is it cold? They had only two big glasses at the kitchen. The bin in the bathroom was broken. I was expecting more . Overall the location was very nice and the room clean.

Good location but different to find. Kostas very kindly came to meet us and directed us. Spacious accommodation.

Some noise from neighbours at times. Irritating that hot water had to be switched on and off. Remembered to switch off but didn’t always remember to switch on in time!

Fabulous property and surrounding area

Amazing architecture and period features, set in a very historic part of the town. The house was spotlessly clean. Our 3 night stay was an absolute joy! Host discreet and efficient.

Exceptional.

Everything was perfect. the house, the rooms, the decoration. We were all at awe when we entered the house. When we arrived the house was a bit cold because the outside temperature was -5 but in 10 minutes all the rooms where warm and cozy.

Honestly the only thing we didn’t like was the location from the maps on the gps. But that I believe isn’t a fault by the host. The host was more than happy to come and guide us to the property which is located in a small alleyway which if you didn’t know the way you would think it is just for walking and not for driving.

An authentic traditional house

It's a very attractive property which also presents as a bit of a museum-piece in its decorations and ornaments. We stayed in the Grand Suite which has 2 nice comfy sofas. As we stayed for 3 nights, and were planning to eat in as well as out, there were things that were not as good as we had hoped: the kitchen had only very large pans and a nice sink but no drainer; there were few accessible sockets; in the bedroom, the wall-mounted television made it very difficult to get to the far side of the bed, and the bed sheets were not big enough to tuck in all round, so turning over involved straightening the sheet underneath me. Despite having compared the map on Booking with Google maps to programme my satnav, we got lost. This is because the location on the online maps is not 100% accurate. Using the actual road name in the address is better (though this disagrees with the map location on Booking and Google) - or just head for the synagogue as it is right next door!

Aangenaam, comfortabel en superlocatie

De accommodatie, de service van de eigenaren en de locatie waren erg goed. De accommodatie is rustig gelegen met een prachtig ontspannend terras met uitzicht op de rivier.

We probeerden erheen te rijden met een kleine caravan, maar de toegang is extreem krap en moeilijk. Eenmaal daar aangekomen, was er geen plek om de caravan achter te laten en moesten we hem buiten de stad in een dorp met familie neerzetten. Er zijn geen echt veilige parkeermogelijkheden voor caravans of campers, mocht je ervoor kiezen om zo te reizen.

Πολύ όμορφη και προσεγμένη αρχοντική διακόσμηση, καθημερινή καθαριότητα. Ιδιαιτέρως ευρύχωρο! Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, χαλάρωση και απόλαυση το να ακούς το κελαρυσμα του ποταμού!

Θα ήμουν άδικος να έλεγα ότι κάτι ήταν άσχημο η δεν με ικανοποίησε. Στα πλαίσια βελτίωσης, γιατί πάντα υπάρχει αυτό, θα αναφέρω μόνο ότι καλό θα ήταν να γίνεται πριν την είσοδο ένας έλεγχος των αναλώσιμων πχ καφές, σαπούνια κτλ για να είμαστε σε θέση να δούμε αν κάτι χρειάζεται να ρυθμιστεί!

Veria est idéalement placé pour visiter les sites archéologiques de Vergina

Magnifiquement placé dans le vieux quartier de Veria à proximité de la Synagogue, la maison en duplex est grande, bien décorée, très confortable. Grâce aux indications de Kostas nous avons pu arriver très facilement sur la petite place à quelques mètres de la maison, où nous avons pu nous garer.

Bellissimo

L'appartamento si trova nell'angolo a mio parere più bello di tutta Veria, di fianco alla sinagoga. La casa è molto spaziosa, su due piani, curatissima in ogni dettaglio, con parquet e tappeti. Ha anche un piccolo giardinetto all'aperto. Molto comodo il fatto di poter parcheggiare la macchina nella piazzetta antistante (non seguite il navigatore ma le istruzioni dettagliatissime del proprietario. Check in automatico e, non me lo aspettavo, pulizie quotidiane. Estremamente consigliato

המקום יפה מאד. יש אח בבית. הבית ממוקם על גדות של נהר זורם. מדהים.

אין חניה פרטית. אתה יכול להגיע בלילה ותצטרך לחנות רחוק. היה לנו קושי להגיע למקום. היה עניין לא ברור עם המים החמים במקלחת. תנור אפיה מאד חסר לנו.
