The House by the River Luxury Villa

The house is really amazing and offers a nice, open terrace to the green valley with the river. The upper level is very spacious and has a nice kitchen and a nice dining and living area. The 2 bed rooms on the ground floor are a bit smaller but completely sufficient for some days to explore Veria or the nearby Vergina archaeological site. The personal check-in was nery nice and friendly and the lady showed us the house, which is located near to the centre but nonetheless very quiet. Even parking was surprisingly easy and free just approx. 100m away from the house. A very nice stay!

I do need to mention a few minor points. There were no useful kitchen utensils (spatulas, ladles, etc.) provided. We were also told at check-in that the upper door (leading from the kitchen/living room) would always remain locked, with insects and animals cited as the reason – so we always had to use the small internal staircase to get onto the terrace... The small bathroom is adequate, but it should be much better lit and the shower cubicle needs to be properly fitted out again. But these are just minor issues.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits à Véria, dans cette très jolie maison située dans le vieux quartier de la ville, et nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. Le logement est impeccable, très propre, joliment décoré, parfaitement équipé et doté de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin pour se sentir comme chez soi. La literie est excellente, nous avons très bien dormi. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la charmante terrasse fleurie, un véritable petit havre de paix, très agréable pour prendre un café ou les repas. La maison était également bien chauffée, ce qui a été très appréciable avec cette météo de mois de mai assez capricieuse. L’emplacement est idéal, aussi bien pour visiter la ville de Véria à pied que pour découvrir facilement toute la région (Aigai, Dion, Pella, Edessa, Mieza …). L’accueil et l’hospitalité de l’hôte ont été remarquables, avec un vrai sens du service : changement des serviettes, nettoyage quotidien… un confort digne d’un service hôtelier. Un grand merci également pour les cafés offerts, une attention très appréciée.
