A pleasant stay

A wonderful place to stay in a lovely part of town.

A wonderful room in the Kokkino Spiti. ( Red House)The building is beautifully restored and found in the old Jewish Quarter of town. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bathroom had a large shower. The bed was very comfortable with ample pillows and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful and served in a lovely dining area. We were able to pre order from a menu the day before. There is parking at the building for a 5 euro fee. The building is walking distance to the main part of town and close to very nice restaurants. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a small but comfortable and clean room, in a well preserved house. We had everything needed for our one day stop at Veroia. The location of the Barbuta is very scenic. You have the feeling that you are outside the town while actually being close to the town centre.

Excellent stay in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Veroia

Everything was perfect. At the beginning we found the bed a bit small for both us so we asked to change our room. Both Vera and Danae did their best and found a solution in one of their other mansions. Room 321 was excellent, we were sleeping by listening to the river's sounds.

A big change from the usual kind of hotel, on an old narrow cobblestone street above a rushing river

I chose this place mostly based on price and being close to Vergina for the royal tombs and museum. Veria also has its own things, such as the historic city center with Byzantine churches, a place regarding Apostle Paul, and other things. The hotel was a boutique type, made from reconditioned old buildings in the old city center area overlooking a nice river. The balcony and window brought in the sound of rushing river water, which was nice. Truly a huge departure from the typical hotel.

My room was on the lower floor, so I could hear the upstairs visitors stomping around overhead, but I brought my earplugs, which helped.

The room was very beautiful, comfortable and, in order, located in an alley close to the center and to the river. Some details really make the difference.. Some tsipouro with croutons left as a treat and an anti mosquito device were a happy surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great. The staff friendly and professional. We booked a double room at the Blossom room and suite and got upgraded to a twin room at Kokkino Spiti - which was fantastic as we were 2 friends travelling.
